Superflex value - Dalton/Brisset

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Superflex value - Dalton/Brisset

Postby Ben1989 » Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:40 am

For team 5 in signature, startup was this year (limited to 3 qbs per team in startup). Couple of questions.

I took BPA throughout and am very week at RB. I am wondering what RB I may be able to get in exchange for Dalton. I believe I can get James White, is that a reasonable trade?

2nd question - Given the 3 QB limitation, Brisset will be available when the first waiver run happens tonight. We have $100 of BB $. What is he worth?

Why play in a SF league where you can only have 3 QBs? Would you play in a league where you could only roster 3 RBs? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Brissett and Dalton are equal to me. I wouldn't risk trading Dalton, because if you end up getting outbid for Brissett, you are screwed.

You can roster more than 3, but were only allowed to draft 3 in the initial startup. It is a weird/annoying rule, but I like the site and that is the only available rule-set for superflex.

I'd probably take Brissett. Much better offense and younger than Dalton. Upside is a lot higher.

I would 100% trade Dalton for White if that offer is on the table however, I would make sure you get Brisset before making the deal.

In that case, I would try to get Brisset first, and if you are able to, then turn around and trade Dalton for White.

This is kind of where I was leaning. How much do you think is too much for Brisset? I actually think he will be pretty good this year and like that the went ahead and gave him the extension. I'd think I have to go at least $60-$70 out of the $100 budget.

Someone will probably spend their entire budget on Brisset, but I don't think he's worth that kind of investment. I'd likely trade Dalton for White, but I'd wait for someone to lose a QB before moving Dalton. Every year people are willing to over pay for mediocre QB's in superflex once one of theirs goes down.

I'd aim a little higher than White if moving Dalton. As for Brissett, I'd use a big portion of your faab to get him.

This. Also depends on who else is out there. Is the next most valuable player on the WW someone irrelevant? Then spend 100% on Brissett in a SF

I’d want more for Dalton than White.

I spent 100% of my FAAB on Brissett and I already had 4 QBs

Dalton >> White in superflex, aim higher. I'd go 100% faab on Brissett.

I didn't realize that people were so high on Dalton. Even in superflex, I'd say White >= Dalton.
