I figured he was going to have a tough rookie season luck or no luck. But long term why not.

Its not like colts arent going to be drafting very high now and have a shot at tua.

Can you imagine? 1st overall manning. 1st overall luck. 1st overall tua.

I think the Phins all but have that 1.01 locked up lol. But yeah I'm not jumping off the Parris bandwagon at all.

The Colts won't be drafting high, they'll be around .500, probably 6-10 at worst.

Yea. Jacoby actually isnt bad at all and has time to learn the offense
QB - DWatson(HOU)Minshew(JAX)Darnold(NYJ)
RB -NChubb(CLE)DHenry(TEN)JTaylor(IND)Gurley(ATL)
WR -DHopkins(ARI)ACooper(DAL)CGodwin(TB)OBJ(CLE)
TE - HHenry(SD)DGoeddart(PHI)
K - Zurlien(LAR)Crosby(GB)
Def - ARI DAL
[rookie] Haskins(WAS)DSwift(DET)Jefferson(MIN)MHardman(KC)
7th pick in 2021

Rosters must always be 3qbs 4wrs 4rbs 2tes 2kickers 2dst and protected players don't take up a roster spot, but are only for rookie/2nd-year players that were drafted

And has one of the best OLs in the league, good skill players, a good defense and HC. Colts are no longer SB contenders, but they are more likely to sneak into the playoffs than earn the #1 pick.

I admit I panicked a little on Paris in another thread. Thankfully I know I’m a huge flip-flopper and never sell guys when this happens, which is frequent.

I still don’t know, but have to admit there’s some real upside here.

Also more context on my ‘panic’: the one league I have him in, 12 team, QB, SF, 2RB, 3WR, TE, Flex, TD, 8 bench. Startup was this year, auction, keep guys for +10% more each year. My entire 8 man bench is cheap rooks. My initial panicked reaction was, I need to cut Paris for someone startable.
main league, half PPR, all TDs 6, -3 for INT
12 team. 2019 champ, 2020 runner up, ‘21 3rd
start 2SF, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2WRT

QB: T Lawrence, K Cousins, R Wilson, Z Wilson
RB: K Walker, T Ettiene, JK Dobbins, D Gore, J Hasty, D Johnson, L Rountree
WR: JJ, AJB, A Cooper, Juju, C Kirk, J Dotson, N Westbrook-Ikhine, I McKenzie
TE. T Kelce, Pitts, Albert O, D Parham, J O’Shaunessy

I never got the Campbell love, to me he was always a lower tier than he was ranked guy who got propped up by situation and the fact he had Andrew Luck throwing him the ball. I’d argue his value hasn’t dropped but more settled back into the area it should have been, his overvalued bubble has burst. I would rather have had guys like Hollywood Brown or JJaw anyway, it’s just makes that an easier call now.

I agree here. Still like him but if you get him for a mid 2nd, even better

Campbell's value definitely takes a hit without Luck. I wouldn't draft any rookie WR with plans for immediate production though. Continue to be patient and give him time.

And yeah, Colts will still be a decent team. Very low chance they have a top 10 pick.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

I would be so annoyed if that happens. So many teams struggle for years to find a franchise QB and the colts fall into them back to back. They need to be in QB purgatory for at least a few years to gain some perspective

I'd rather they wait an extra year then bottom out, draft Lawrence. Then the Colts would have drafted perhaps the 4 greatest QB prospects ever (remember the Baltimore Colts drafted Elway).

I still like Campbell, he has basically no polish but speed like his can transcend a bad situation imo, and even if Jacoby cant hit the long bombs all that often, campbell is still a threat to take a screen or jet sweep to the house

Currently on the Marqise Lee path, so if I had to bet no, but he definitely has an opportunity this year if he can stay on the field.

Colts not adding a WR in free agency and still needing an OT, EDGE and corner in the draft makes it at least possible

But if it doesn't happen this year it's never happening
