Damn, Luck and Lamar Miller lost in less time than an NFL game takes.

Miller isn't a big name, but he's been important for me...

Jim Brown, Earl Campbell, and Gayle Sayers at least deserve honorable mentions here. They all played less seasons than Barry. Also remember Tony Boselli anyone? O line candidate for this list for sure. And lastly I’d be remiss if I didn’t give this guys a shout out, cause I was always a fan- Jake “The Snake” Plummer

No Gronk is definitely get in, but I don't think he'll be considered greatest ever like I think he should.

Megatron is really iffy, WRs have a real hard time getting in historically. Cris Carter was the 2nd greatest WR ever statistically when he retired, and it took him 6 years to get in. I won't be surprised if Megatron does eventually make it, but it's not at all a certainty that he does.

Agree with Megatron. Isaac Bruce sn't in yet, and you'd think he'd have been first-ballot.

Brown retired after a 289-1,544-17-34-328-4 season. Jeez. What a monster.

I don't think Sayers and Campbell should count, though. Sayers broke down, and his knee was shot. He was a shell of his former self when he was forced to retire. Campbell also broke down after '83. By '85, he was washed up.

But Brown, though. Good god. His worst season was his rookie year. The closest thing to a down year he had was when he still scored 18 TDs and had the highest receptions total of his career. xD

Just had a draft tonight.. took Luck as my QB. At start of draft, saw Miller out, took Duke Johnson at end of draft. I swear, five minutes after completion of draft I received a group message with a picture of ESPN announcing Luck retired. I thought it was just another post draft joke 🤬

I'd love to see Jacoby have his own Foles moment this year.

Good for him. Having had somebody close to me who was in pain more or less constantly for years I know what it can do to a person mentally. It changes you, your whole outlook on life sometimes. He’s banked 97m during his career, who cares about the amount left on the table.

Good health and happiness to you sir.

I’d say Chris Borland too. He was very young and looked like a stud.

I actually had that typed in, but erased it and just left the Willis mention.

Think I may go pick up Chad Kelly in my superflex league. Seems like he’s Frank Reich’s pet project this offseason. And he has pretty good bloodlines. He’s a knucklehead sure, and he has a two game suspension to serve. But hopefully being cut by the Broncos and given a 2nd chance by Indy has matured him some. I could see the Colts deciding Brissett isn’t their franchise QB, and giving Kelly a shot at some poin. If he could do anything with it is debatable, but a shot is all you’re looking for. Jacoby is on the last year of his deal, so maybe they decide he’s not worth resigning/franchising. Kelly is also on a one year deal, but he would make a much cheaper option to resign as a bridge untill they find their guy. Or he becomes it. Obviously total long shot, but if you have the space why not?
