No one is trading for AB, Oakland is stuck with him.

As for who it might be I don't think it's going to be THAT big a name. My guess is Alshon Jeffrey, Eagles are more aggressive that any other team in trading players and they have a lot of receiving options. This could be a chance to clear some salary and get good value in return before he begins to decline.

I’ll throw a wild guess out there myself, how about Corey Davis? The pass game is going to be an afterthought in Tenn, and maybe they think newly drafted AJ Brown can do whatever heavy lifting Davis was slated for.

Watching MN vs Cardinals

1st drive--cards go nowhere. DJ up the gut. Murray scrambles to avoid a sack. 3rd and long, Vikes show blitz, back off. Murray's pass not enough for 1st. Punt. Think D trucked the rookie there.

2nd drive--Cook turns a 1 yard loss into 4 yard game with good patience and cutback. Good to see Vikings playing him. Overthrow a bomb to Thielen. Punt

3rd drive- Xavier Rhodes beat in coverage by Byrd (who?? Ouch.) for a 30 yard pass. David Johnson going to be severely limited by this o line. Screen play to DJ is smart play calling, but DJ fumbles on a ball punch from pursuer.

Uh, refs apparently drunk and rule no fumble? Even Cardinals announcers baffled. Lots and lots of short stuff by Arizona. Can't pick up 1st downs. Field goal.

4th drive- Cook looks good. O line bad. Cook busts a massive run from I formation on 1st and 20 after a hold. 85 yard run. Makes guys Mos in secondary space.

5th- another pitiful 3 and out by arizona. On 3rd, it looked like Murray could have ran for thr 1st but he tried forcing downfield and was broken up

6th- Mattison 10 yard run. Small hole, hits it and goes. O line still sucks. Cousins deer in headlights on sacks. Punt.

I'll be updating this with a few sentences per drive til about halftime.

It'd be hilarious to watch people do a 180 on Davis if he got traded to a better offense. He's such an obviously good player.

Dalvin hit that hole like they were giving away pit bull puppies in the other side. Kyler has looked alright, not great or bad. Rhodes sucks. MN oline has been ok, not bad at all.

My guess is Lombardi is making it up. He is one of the least reliable/honest sources.

Are the Cardinals the first NFL team whose QBs clap? I guess I just watch so much college football I never noticed pro teams don't.

Kyler didn't look too bad out there today. He can for sure get the ball to the sideline on the outs. Has a good arm. Will have trouble gaining the edge on the run against NFL defensive ends and linebackers and he's had his share of batted balls throwing over the middle so far in preseason. He needs to make some adjustments but does have a pro arm.
