Hunt v. 1.10

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Hunt v. 1.10

Postby Hankybro21 » Wed Aug 21, 2019 8:08 am

Team 1.

Hunt owner asked me last night about acquiring my 1.10. The only pieces he has that would interest me would be KJ or Hunt (he also has Thielen but won't move him). He's been hesitant to move KJ in the past but open to Hunt. Is Hunt worth the 1.10 at this point? Or should I make a package push for KJ. I do need RB help and have otherwise strongly considered Darwin (or JJAW) at 1.10 since I don't pick again until 3.10.

Of note, I already have this owners 1st for next season so I told him that it would have to be a pick for player swap/package

I'd rather have the 1.10 over Hunt.

I would hold your pick over Hunt. Too much uncertainty around him in my opinion.

I wouldn't pay the 1.10 for Hunt, but probably wouldn't sell for that either. I have a hard time trusting his judgement and am not convinced that he's a starter somewhere next year even if he stays out of trouble.

I agree with you, hes proven he can play. With 1.10 your hoping to get a player that can play

I'd rather hold the pick. Hunt was good, but if we are being blunt here KC could have put almost anyone in their and they would have produced. Now he's behind Chubb, and is a RFA next year and will only have half a season to show out this year. Doubt someone will be pulling the trigger so next year he'll be back behind Chubb again. Unless Chubb gets hurt the time horizon for getting value back from Hunt* is going to be somewhere in the 2021 season most likely. The pick gives you a much quicker horizon if you use it on a RB.

I'd package that pick for KJ or at least push back on him and see what he is willing to do. You could also flip it for some of his futures and later picks if you aren't in love with 1.10. Lots of options. Not sure Hunt would be high on my list of options though.

1.10 > Hunt, but I'll be honest, I think Hunt comes back, plays decently well, and then signs with another team looking to add someome to their RBBC. I don't think Hunt will get the chance, outright, to be the lead back again, unless he proves himself in CLE and his next team.

I could see him going to Indy and splitting time with Mack in 2020.

The old fashioned feeling where you own him and are bias you mean?

Do you think he is > Chubb? or you are banking on a Chubb injury?
