Moving up to 1.3

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Moving up to 1.3

Postby Motay316 » Wed Aug 21, 2019 1:46 pm

For Team B in the signature. I have an offer on the table to move 1.11 and 1.12 for 1.3. My team is in a rebuild and not sure if its worth it to have 1.3 and 5 picks in a row or have the 2 late firsts. What are your thoughts?

It's usually better to have more picks when you're rebuilding, but in this draft, I think I'd rather have the 1.03.

1.03 is worth A LOT more than 2 late picks in this draft. Even if you don't want anyone there, you should be able to trade it for a nice player

I would package these picks along with other 2019 first rounders you have with picks next year. I firmly believe the best players to come out of 2019 will not be in the first round. Let others clamor over them, get high picks next year, better class. Also trade your best players after the season starts and the guys with DJ realize that he is no good, flip Carson to those owners or the Gordon/Gurley/Elliot owners that assembled the perfect team for draft/upside players. Drive the car, don't be taken for a ride.
