#1 - I give CMC, I get Ekeler, RSJ (this was sent before MG3's holdout FWIW). I think this may be the worst trade offer I have ever seen.
#2 - I Give D. Watson, K. Hunt, Damien Williams, Engram, I get Josh Allen, Ekeler, A-Rob, J. Graham, pick 1.12 (wouldn't give Watson for this, let alone add)
#3 - Give K. Hunt get Ekeler, pick 4.12

I guess the guy really likes Ekeler. I don't.
I would guess the guy doesn't really like Ekeler, hence why he's trying to get rid of him. All he onwer is trying to do is sell Ekeler at the highest price he will ever be in his entire career.

Rookie draft
I'd say that's a great offer in a rookie draft.
Ya got Murray and Jacobs as the typical 1 and 2 then a slight drop to monty, sanders, harry, and haskins in most peoples eyes
Its a horrible offer. Especially in a rookie draft. Adding a 2nd to move up one spot in a draft as wide open as this one?

It's trash.

The top 3 rb and top 2 qb are in the same tier for me.
its not a bad offer. your personal views of not caring to be at spot 2 or spot 5 doesnt matter. totally legit offer

I got offered:
M. Hardman
2020 2nd
2020 2nd
For
J. Kumerow
(3) 2020 1sts

I probably wouldn’t post it here as I like most trade offers and think we all can place values differently on players, but it came with the comments of:
“the next tyreek hill and value gonna go higher and higher. 2 touches in preseason both tds and hill free agent end of year. give you 2 seconds for first and want the other two for him but may regret but gotta gamble”

I wonder how many people that posted on here would blush if we were able to look into their own sent trades history? Like mentioned earlier, maybe 10% of these are actually bad offers. The rest of them are called opening offers. I also wonder how many people lost a good trade because of thin skin; they got offended and shut down instead of pursuing talks that could have ended productively?

Agree. I make offers that aren't great, but I also make offers that people hit accept so fast their head spins and the entire league was like why did you offer that?

Generally I agree with this. I have made multiple comments about trades that don't belong in here because the trade seems really close. I will make trades that are in my favor sometimes. I do try to look at a few different measurement tools to make sure I am somewhere in the ballpark.
When I agree most of the time with trades posted it is with the overselling of the players the owner wants to give up. If I am incapable of ranking the players and adjusting with performance I shouldn't be playing this game. I don't need to hear how great a player is doing and that the value is on the rise, especially in this last case I posted a bad trade offer after a couple preseason games.

Agree for the most part, but some “opening offers” are so bad it’s pretty unlikely to find a common ground. Try not to get offended by any offer, so agree with the need for thick skin.

I put David Johnson on the block for Team 1 in my sig the other day. RBs are highly valued in the league cause of the 0.5ppc scoring.

This started a serious of variably bad offers, but this opening one really took the cake:
Give: David Johnson
Get: Justin Jackson, Travis Homer, 2020 mid 2nd.

Also had a new guy join the league for Team 2 in my sig, and he offered:
Give: Zeke
Get: Tevin

not the worst offer in the world, but when I rejected he messaged me: "Elliot is not going to play so your screwed there, you have mahomes, trubisky, kamara and Elliot but the rest of your team sucks" which I found funny cause of who all he left out. Needless to say we didn't do business. Then he went and traded Goff for Brady straight up (SF league).

I concur with you. Even with all the uncertainty, this is way low. With your team, you can contend even without him.

A thread with the words "bad trade offers" in the title always amuses me and takes me back to when ESPN had a fantasy forum where we were able to go and have opinions much like we are doing here on DLF. One frequent poster stated (and I am paraphrasing here--because it has been years since the forum was up and active)--there are no bad trades only trades that appear to be bad. And I have always thought that was probably the most profound thing I had read in a fantasy football forum. Now I have seen some trades that in my mind were aweful but they went through and no one has complained about them. And then I have seen some trades that appear to be fair or as close as you can can get that are are just lambasted--ruthlessly and unfairly in my opinion.

Even in one of my most active leagues--with guys that have been around for awhile--we have this issue. In this particular league my team is basically an almost start from the bottom rebuild--and I made a trade. A trade that even as I look at it today still appears to be very even and practical trade. And i got unmercifully torched and berated--for days. Not too long after this-- another trade was completed and I didn't like the one side at all--. But -- lo and behold -- the owner most vocal about how poorly I had done with my trade was was very effusive in his praise of what i considered the losing side the just completed trade. Moral of the story? One simply doesn't know how each and every owner values players , picks, team structure, etc.

Even in this very thread I have seen trades posted that weren't bad. Maybe not something I would have done--but not bad per se--. I will always be drawn to threads like this --like a moth a lightbulb--
