Keep J.Stewart or S.Rice

Postby KevNY » Sun Jul 24, 2011 9:21 pm

In a 10 man PPR keeper league. I already have Vick and J.Charles. Now my only viable options for a 3 year keeper is between J.Stewart and S.Rice. I know within the next few weeks both players value can go either up or down drastically. Just want to get some opinions on who you guys would keep. Thank you all in advance and Good Luck this season!!

What are your lineup requirements?
In a vacuum I'd keep j stew
He's more likely to be drafted before rice
Then you can't load up on WRs and you'd prob have a good shot at getting rice
12 Team PPR TE Premium
(1) QB Stafford, Cutler
(1-3)RB: CJ Spiller, F Jax, Mathews, Latavius
(2-4)WR: AJ Green, C. Patterson, Alshon Jeffery, M. Floyd, J. Blackmon, M. Wheaton, M. Brown
(0-2)TE: Julius Thomas, Ladarius Green, K. Rudolph

Roster requirements are 1Qb, 2Rb, 3Wr, 1Te, 1K and 1 DST. Also if i keep J.Stew that will be my 5th round pick and if i keep S.Rice it will be my 15th round pick. Sorry, i should have added that! thats pretty important!

Like Rice's upside. But consider this would you trade j stew for s rice
J stew is safer and still a good deal for a 5th rndr

i would go with Stewart. I'm a bit old school though and place a little extra value on rbs. Especially those that have potential to be top tier. I don't think we've seen the best of Stewart yet :)

That's a tough one. I would make a list of every teams potential keepers and then look at your draft slot to try and get an idea of what players will be available. I really like JStew but keeping Rice for a 15th round pick may be too good to pass up, especially since you must start 3 WR's...

Good luck!

The value fro Rice there is incredible, and I love Stewart. With DeAngelo supposedly signing back in CAR, you may be able to redraft him.

Great value for Rice here. That's the way to go. And I thought this BEFORE the announcement that DWill is back with Carolina.

yeah, so I'll be backing off slightly on this with Rice reuniting with Tarvaris Jackson in Seattle.... I have no idea what you should do....

No kidding, can probably re-draft either one in your first round, if you were so inclined... Based on value I'd still stick with Rice I guess.

I actually could also keep Blount which would take my last round pick. It's a no brainer with Rice and Stewart taking such hits.

I like this - full draft, and Blount in the last round? nice.
