Godwin or DJ Moore for Miles Sanders

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Godwin or DJ Moore for Miles Sanders

Postby dvpkwys » Wed Aug 14, 2019 11:32 am

Not straight up, but the Sanders owner is looking for WR help and asked if I would talk those two, I said if you talk Sanders and he said ok. Is this a definite line to work on? I earlier posted a Godwin or Moore trade for Guice, but after days of thinking it was rejected. One of those WR's a no brainer in a Sanders deal?
10 Team - NON PPR (5 Round Rookie Draft) - Start 2QB, 2RB, 4WR, 1TE, 1FLEX, 4DB, 4LB/DL/DB

Taylor/Swift (Sanders, Conner, Gibson, Miller, Spears Lenny)
Adams/Godwin/Higgins/McLaurin (DJ Moore, Hopkins, Tillman)
Kelce (Hockenson)
Budda/Holland/Blackmon/Minkah (Sydney Brown)
Bosa/Bernard/Okereke/EJones (Elliss)

I would rather hold both Godwin and Moore then gamble on Sanders. You know both Godwin and Moore are solid assets who can produce with big value, the same can not be said for Sanders.

id take sanders over either probably but an argument can be made to have those two wr higher.

looking at your team id keep the wrs. you have enough shots at rb and some real stability question marks at wr with AB and AJG.
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp

I like Sanders long term as well, but I agree with this sentiment. Unless you get a significant piece on top of Sanders for one of those WRs, I'd have to say hold in a start 4WR league.

Yikes. The hate is real with this one.

I'd put Moore >> Godwin > Sanders.

DJ Moore would have been the 1.1 in this class.

Not hate, I just happen to LOVE both Godwin and Sanders. I do like Moore, but it's hard to ignore that he's being overshadowed in his own WR group by C. Samuel.

Don't think I'd trade Godwin for any single pick in this year's draft, and I have Sanders as the 1.02 in this class. So Moore is in the 1.02 - 1.04 range for me.
