As the HC of the Chiefs from 2013-2019, Reid’s starting RB has averaged between 17-22 touches per game.

Here are Reid’s RB touches per game in his last 10 years in Philly:

2012
McCoy 254 touches in 12 games, 21+ pg

2011
McCoy 321 in 15 games, 21+ pg

2010
McCoy 285 in 13+ games, 21+ pg

2009
McCoy 195 starting just 4 games as a rookie playing all 16 but in some games only seeing minimal snaps, ?

2008
Westbrook 288 in 14 games, 20+ pg

2007
Westbrook 368 in 15 games, 24+ pg

2006
Westbrook 317 in 15 games, 20+ pg

2005
Westbrook 217 in 12 games in and out with injury, still 18+ pg

2004
Westbrook 250 in 12 games, 20+ pg

2003
Finally a committee!
Buckhalter 15 games, 5 started, 136 touches
Westbrook 15, 8, 154
Staley 16, 4, 132

So 16 years ago there was a committee. But in the last 15 years, Reid’s starting RB has averaged between 17-25 touches per game, with the majority of those years seeing Reid’s starting RB average OVER 20 touché season pers game, even in situations he has called “committees” before.

That news had already been posted and debunked here before, several pages ago.

I see the posts from yesterday, but debunked? Your earlier post seems to ignore that he he does directly say they will implement a running back by committee. So who determines what is “real news?” You?

So the guy who says people with a difference of opinion are trolls, and that the mods are encouraging trolling, is actually the troll. I hope everybody here understands that.

He literally said the EXACT same thing about Damien, Ware, and Darrel last season and then proceeded to give Damien about 80% of the touches for the entire home stretch of the season and the playoffs.

And I just posted above, for 15 straight years, including with Damien Williams as the starter last year, the range of touches per game for Reid’s starting RB has been 17-25 touches per game, with the majority seeing 20+ touches per game. 15 years straight.

Ware was hurt the entire time, Darrell is a JAG, Damien did great so why take him out mid season when you only have a JAG as a backup? Reid is the decision maker and he's putting up warning signs the last couple of weeks on Damien, not hard to see that.

Edit: referring to dumdum’s last post

Solid evidence. Seriously. But does that preclude us from talking about a statement from the head coach that points to the contrary? Why are you mad about this? Who cares if people disagree with you? If you’re right you succeed and those who disagreed will be worse off.

So, based off what we've seen from D.Williams so far, he now is = to L.McCoy. I think the reasonable interpretation here is that Reid as a coach attempts to give his team at the time the best chance to win. In the real world, Damian Williams is not anywhere close to what L.McCoy was in his prime. Sorry.

I see a committee approach coming in KC. simple as that. It isn't a good thing or a bad thing. Its just a thing that is likely to happen considering their current roster construction.
