Tyler Boyd on the other hand... played at a larger school, going to Pitt (my alma mater H2P!!) and had a 95th percentile dominator to go along with a 93rd percentile breakout age. Not to mention he's a better athlete tooninotoreS wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:13 pm Trent Taylor is having a great camp so far. Unlike Pettis, who started slow and has only gotten into his groove the last few days, Taylor has been hot from day one in camp. Kiiiiinda feeling some 'Tyler Boyd at this same time last year' deja vu. Taylor was a low-key production analytics stud coming out of college.
I'm mulling the notion Taylor could out-produce Deebo this season. I wonder if people are expecting too much from a rookie that has had injury issues in three of his past four seasons of football.
But I'm hesitant to plant a Taylor hype flag because Shanahan prizes versatility with his WRs, and Taylor really shouldn't be anywhere but the slot. So even if he's the best pure slot on the chart, it may not be rewarded in SF because Shanahan would still prefer three other WRs out there that can be anywhere in the formation on any down.

Re: 2019 NFL Training Camp Thread
I have a feeling he over did it during his off season training to "prove himself". He was already known for his off season workouts and these blisters seem to prove he went above his normal.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 2:46 pmIt is about blisters on his feet. Probably wants to get it cleared up ASAP.ninotoreS wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 1:03 pm I won't be shocked if it really is only just some sort of painful skin condition on his feet. I mean, it's AB. He's a diva. And after successfully forcing his way out of Pittsburgh and getting everything he wanted in the process, I can imagine him power-tripping a little right now.
Either that or he has hygiene issues...

Terry McLaurin looking like the WR1 in Washington this year. Not that that'll be worth much. But getting rave reviews all camp.

So apparently AB will be back soon. His feet are frostbitten, as it turns out, from a cryotherapy machine.

That may be the weirdest injury I've ever heard of, and yet... somehow I'm not surprised.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 8:21 pm So apparently AB will be back soon. His feet are frostbitten, as it turns out, from a cryotherapy machine.

Re: 2019 NFL Training Camp Thread
Talk of Winston checking down more often. Winston averaging 7.6 yards per attempt since 2015, good for 14th over that time. If this opens cheap PPR catches, who does this benefit? Humphries is gone from the slot. Is Howard used more at short range, Godwin as the projected slot, or does a RB like Jones get more dump offs?

I read something on Twitter that they are actually projecting Watson in the slot; but that all the WRs will be expected to line up everywhere.
That said, I think dump offs help OJH & the running backs.

Interesting.
Kahale Warring intrigues me long term, but year one is likely too early for him to make an impact in the NFL.
