If you have the space, why not hold?

Anyone remember the old Mad TV sketch about a dating service called "Lowered Expectations?" That's Josh Gordon 2019. From weeks 4-15 last year (his stint with the Patriots), he was WR27 in PPR leagues according to fantasypros. I think you'd have to be in fairly shallow leagues not to be intrigued at the right price. So yeah, I'm holding where I own him.

Same. Been holding him pretty much everyone since before his first suspension.

MadTV was the best.

But as far as JG goes, I wouldn’t pay anything for him, but if my roster space allowed it, I would hold him just for the hell of it. I own him in one league where he was sitting on waiver. Figured why not at this point. He is free and has upside.

I call Josh Gordon the Golden Goose. Hes the gift that keepa giving. Because theres always 1 sucker you can trade him to. And then when hes inevitably suspended or an after thought pick him back up off waivers when he gets dropped or send a 3rd and hold him again. Rinse and repeat.

Imagine holding JG for 5 years or whatever it's been. What an absolute waste of a roster spot unless the bench is infinite deep.

The gift that keeps on giving. Now wait till hes dropped again and pick him up, wait for the right moment and sell again. The Golden Goose of dynasty.
