This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

2019 Draft Pick Trade Offer

Postby Oakie » Wed Jul 31, 2019 8:40 am

Hi,

Was offered 2019 1.5, 1.9 and 2.3 for my 2019 1.2.

Worth falling back a few picks for more players?

Team is in a current rebuild and needs some help. Took over last year.

Current roster -

QB - Deshaun Watson

RB - Kerryon Johnson
RB - Royce Freeman

WR - Danny Amendola
WR - Julian Edelman
WR - Devin Funchess
WR - Michael Gallup
WR - Marquise Goodwin

TE - Trey Burton

Looking forward to feedback.

Thanks!

I think I would do it. The gap between 2 and 5 this year isn't as big as in some years and your roster needs as many first round talents as possible, particularly at WR.

Agree, I'd do this easily. Then maybe try to even move 1 of those picks for a 2020 1st.

I would make the move. The more picks the better as you retool your roster a bit over the next few years.

i'd try to get a 2020 1st instead of this year's but overall yes, good value.
if you take the deal, keep trading back and/or get 2020 picks unless the guys you really like fall to you.

If you can get a 2020 1st instead of the 1.09, even better. If not, I'm still making this trade.

I would easily do this. As others have said, switching a 2019 pick for with a 2020 one would be even better.
