Handcuff for Melvin Gordon

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I would say Ekeler is the RB to own but Jackson could definitely win the job over time depending on how much time Gordon misses. Also it depends if standard or PPR. Ekeler has standalone value in PPR regardless of if Gordon misses time
Team 1: 8 Team Standard Scoring, 2QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, 3 Flex, K, DEF

QB - Wilson, Stafford, Darnold, Bridgewater
RB - Chubb, Mack, Ekeler, D.Freeman, Coleman, Cohen, T.Pollard, D.Henderson D.Harris
WR - Hopkins, Thielen, Juju, Metcalf, M.Jones, Anderson, Washington, Arcega-Whiteside
TE - Ertz, Howard
K -
DEF -

Team 2: 10 Team PPR Scoring, 2QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, 3 Flex

QB - Wilson, Cousins , Brady, Minshew, Luck (holding)
RB - Chubb, D. Freeman, Drake , Coleman, Penny, Ito Smith, D Harris
WR -M. Thomas, Evans, Jeffrey, DJ Moore , Parker, Sanders, Crowder, Miller, Coutee, Sims Jr
TE - Kittle, OJ Howard, Knox

I like Jackson, but Allison has high upside as the 2a or 2b in that offense behind Adams. I'd want at least a 2020 3rd on top of Jackson to sell Allison depending on your roster.
Kittles Pox | Championships: 2015, 2017
12-Team PPR | QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, W/R/T, K, DST
QB: Kyler Murray, Aaron Rodgers, Ryan Tannehill
RB: Christian McCaffrey, James Conner, Phillip Lindsay, Tevin Coleman, Boston Scott, Benny Snell Jr.
WR: Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp, Michael Gallup, Tyler Lockett, Darius Slayton
TE: George Kittle, Travis Kelce, Dawson Knox, Ian Thomas | K: Younghoe Koo | DST: SF
PS: Mecole Hardman, Darwin Thompson, Tony Pollard | 2020 Picks: 1.09, 3.08 | 2021 Picks: 1st

I would guess Ekeler is the back to own right now but I would pre season play out a bit before making a deal for the potential starter. As of now, I think Allison is too much to pay for Jackson.

Jackson and Ekeler probably split time, with Ekeler being more valuable in ppr. I wouldn't move Allison for Jackson.

Jackson only got double digit touches 1 week last year when Gordon was out, and Ekeler was also absent that game. Ekeler is the guy I want.
