When to sell Justin Jackson

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

When to sell Justin Jackson

Postby QB Browns » Sat Jul 27, 2019 6:50 am

I've got a potential deal on the table of Jackson for Vance McDonald. (I'd be selling to the Melvin Gordon owner) Right now the Gordon situation looks like it could be ugly and drag into the regular season, but that's still a long ways off. Do I push to get this deal done asap or hold out (no pun intended) longer hoping that Jackson's value continues to rise?

You have a very solid rb core without Jackson, I’d personally make the move.

Nice deal for you. You dont need Jackson and he likely wont command a high price as I'm guessing Gordon's deal gets done at some point. At least McDonald is a starter for sure.

Personally wouldn't make that trade. With your squad I'd look to move Jackson for a 2020 pick

Not a huge McDonald fan (no disrespect to him as a player). Maybe if you were in need of a TE but you've got Ebron and upside with Jace. Go for a a 2020 pick as others have said or Target another position.

I'm a Jackson truther. He is a great RB, and handled a heavy load for an undersized RB in college. That said, I cashed out for a 20 2nd yesterday. I'd aim for the same. Even if Gordon is traded or holds out the part of the season, RB is so replaceable, and as good as a guy like Jackson is, he would likely be in a RBBC, and the 2020 class is going to replace a lot of RBs.

I’m all for selling Jackson now while there’s hype. Either Gordon will sign or Ekeler will be the lead back so barring injury this is a high point in value.

That said McDonald has little to no value. I’d rather hold and hope or look for something else in return

I’d happily cash out, but I don’t want Vance.
