I think the safer player is Samuel, but Smith might have a tad bit more upside, just because of the Saints offense. I’d probably take Samuel out of the two, but I like both players.

Samuel for me. He showed more last year then Smith in my opinion. I know everyone is very high on Moore but there is better opportunity in Carolina for Samuel to be the #1 then Smith in New Orleans. Not saying Samuel is the #1 but Carolina does not have an alpha WR like New Orleans.

Curtis Samuel to me. Feels like a player that the Panthers will find ways to get the ball in his hands. Smith to me is just another guy among a collection of Saint skill players that will be wildly inconsistent from week to week.

Smith seems to be a deep threat like Ginn, but the targets in NO are spread out behind Thomas and Kamara, and Brees is on his last legs. I really don't get the Smith love and wouldn't pay more than an early 3rd for him. I'd much rather have Samuel.
