Just wait until he doesn't start the first drive of week one... but is "not injured".
Then this place will explode.

The takeaway for me is to not forget about particularly severe past knee injuries, even if in the nearer term the player appears to have fully recovered. Ajayi seems to be another less dramatic example of this. At one point it seemed he and Gurley had put the injury permanently behind them as they posted gaudy NFL box-scores, only for the long-term cost to suddenly become apparent. For Ajayi, overcompensating on his other knee for years likely led to its non-contact ACL tear he suffered last season, and ofc Gurley already has arthritis at age 24.

If my takeaway is correct, then Nick Chubb owners should consider selling him a year or two from now. His collegiate injury was especially severe, mangling all three major ligaments plus additional cartilage damage.

In a startup I'm following, 24 team (double SF, TE Premium (2PPR), but with 0.2/carry, he went late 3rd round of the startup, after fellow RBs such as Kerryon and Jacobs, as well as a copy of Damien Williams and David Montgomery.

I traded him a month ago for Phillip Lindsay + Antonio Brown.

I’m buying where I can. I gave up Jacobs and Deebo for Gurley a few days ago.

I’m not expecting overall RB1 again. He will have his workload managed after what happened last year. That said, he’s going the be better for longer than people think. Give me his floor/ceiling the next 3-5 years over others valued similarly.

Just as an FYI this is not the lowest Gurleys value has been. His ADP in July 2019, according to mizelle, is 18.50.

However from June to August 2017 his ADP was 20-23.

And here are a couple of trades from 2017

1 - Trade date: 2017-08-27
Sideline Sage [ roster · trades ]
WR Jordan Matthews, SFO

Topcats [ roster · trades ]
RB Todd Gurley, LAR

2 - Trade date: 2017-08-25
LoCarb [ roster · trades ]
2.08 draft pick
3.08 draft pick

A Team Has No Name [ roster · trades ]
RB Todd Gurley, LAR
3.12 draft pick

3 - Trade date: 2017-08-24
Taco Corp [ roster · trades ]
RB Todd Gurley, LAR

C. Hawks [ roster · trades ]
TE Tyler Eifert, CIN

4 - Trade date: 2017-08-21

ARMYANTZZZ [ roster · trades ]
WR Martavis Bryant, OAK
3.04 draft pick

Seven Angry Clowns [ roster · trades ]
RB Todd Gurley, LAR

--------

There has always been a portion of the community that has not been high on Gurley, from the time he was in college. Further some people will jump on any excuses they can make to take advantage of owners with poor dynasty skills.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Gurley, to me, is the best buy of the offseason for a competing team. He singlehandedly won leagues two years ago and was just as dominant last year. Knee concerns or not, I'm still expecting elite production. These types of issues really do get overblown.

'16 was disastrous. More than just the 3.2 ypc, I remember published tape study arguing that Gurley couldn't see daylight at the line when it was there. Now McVay has him facing 8 men only 8% of the time, and what a difference that makes.

This is a very good point, Guice owners should probably follow suit, as well (less severe injury, but the infection is troubling).

According to Dr. Gene Bramel, that can lead to additional scarring, I believe he said.
