Re: Landry vs ...
I'd like to hear why everyone is so down Landry. I happen to think he'll see plenty of targets, particularly underneath and without the double have room to get up field.

Re: Landry vs ...
I think the problem with Landry is we know what he is. Most people dont realize he was the WR20ish last year, which means more often then not he is a starter in every league, whether it is at WR or at Flex.
People still see the upside in Mike Williams, Ridley and Kirk. People will pay more for perceived upside.
Also, James Washington isn't and won't be good

Re: Landry vs ...
Good list, although I'd say high 2nd for Washington. I wouldn't trade him for pick 16 or later.WhatWouldDitkaDo wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 8:32 am Mid 1st:

He's a good NFL WR, but doesn't have the skillset to be a big fantasy producer without huge targets like he got in Miami. And I don't see huge targets for him with OBJ there.
Plus he's just kinda boring, and I play fantasy to have fun and watch players that excite me.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Re: Landry vs ...
He'll get enough targets to be a decent WR3/flex with WR2 potential, but he's not going to see the crazy volume he did in MIA that made him a WR1. I don't value a WR3 with WR2 potential to be worth more than a late 1st.

People are now basing their opinions on Landry on his worst career season - which was last season. Which I think is very shortsighted.
He went to a new offense with a rookie QB and had a head coaching change and a starting QB change in-season. Those are rarely recipes for success.
He was a top 10-15 PPR WR asset for years and is still on the young end of his prime and now has an upper echelon receiver to draw double coverage and safety help on every play. He's primed to be a top 15-20 receiver for the next several years with upside pending the ceiling Mayfield reaches - which can absolutely not be guaranteed by any of the other receivers on your list.
If I owned Landry - I would advise holding for now. You simply won't get proper value in most cases.
If anything, this is a great opportunity to buy a guy at WR3 prices who has an upside for much more with a very safe floor.
He's an ideal WR3/Flex target for championship contenders.

This is also how I feel. I believe he should be very similar value to Ridley and Williams, definitely ahead of Kirk by a decent margin. If Landry is valued as a late 1st, he's a buy in every scenario.
