Depending on where you think that 2020 first round pick would be I think you have to take that. Even if it’s a late pick in the first in 2020 I think I’d do that. It doesn’t look like your team is a serious contender this year so I’d trade obj for that haul and speed up your build of that team. I think you’ll be happy you did next year as long as hill doesn’t implode and do something stupid in the next year or so
Qb: Hurts, geno Smith
Rb: JT, Gibbs, Montgomery, Roschon, Z. White, Ty Chandler
Wr: AJB, JJ, Chase, waddle, DK, G Wilson, Palmer

10 team
9 players kept yearly

OBJ side easily. I want something concrete for OBJ, and Hill is not that at this point. Guice is a question mark, Kupp will most likely struggle the first half of this year based on the injury, and who knows about that pick.

If you think Hill returns as a top 5 wr this year or next, I would take that deal. Kupp looked the part of a top 20 wr pre injury and the 2020 1st will gain serious value too. Nice package here.

OBJ side, the other side of that trade is too risky.

But if Hill plays (which I think he will) this trade is going to be EXTREMELY lopsided in favor of the package give me the package

Do you like to gamble? OBJ side for me because the other side is too risky. But that side has potential to be the better side. Hill COULD equal OBJ in the future and the 2020 1st most likely will be higher then 1.11 in a better draft class. Then you would have gotten Guice and Kupp for free.

However I think the most likely outcome is Hill will screw up again and find his way out of the league, Guice, who knows. Kupp is pretty old for his experience level and is injured so might take time to return to what he was. I guess for me, I just do not want to buy Hill unless it is super cheap.

OBJ side for me. I don’t trust Hill at all, long-term.

OBJ side for me- I traded Hill and J.Howard for OBJ before the start of last season and caught a lot of grief for it but feeling good about it now. I also agree with the statement about the ?'s surrounding Guice and how soon Kupp will be back to being Kupp.

a lot of unknowns opposite of OBJ side, OBJ is a very rare player now with a good QB. Hill may or may not play and will regress, Kupp will regress and Guice was a top pick last year but only played in part of the 1st preseason game so nobody knows how good he will be. I would keep OBJ and your 1st

That is the package I would sell for. You don’t have to trust Tyreek long term, just long enough for him to play a game or two, then sell.

I think it's easy for some to say the OBJ side at first glance. However, have you guys taken a look at the state of his team? He's ridiculously thin at RB and other than OBJ, he's only got Boyd and Edelman as start-worthy WR's. I get it's risky, but he has too many needs on that team to turn down a possible team-altering trade like this. I understand Guice is coming off an ACL injury (albeit complications arose) but he's got some great upside and could end up a starting RB on the OP's team. Kupp is also start-worthy WR2 and once Hill is back on the field (most likely this year I think) then he'll have a WR1 who can at least come close to matching OBJ's production. So, with just those players he would have potentially 3 starters on a very thin roster. On top of that, I would gladly take the 2020 1st that's coming with those players over the 1.11 this year. In all he could end up with 2 starting RB and 2 starting WR if he takes the deal. Just my 2 cents, but if you're not contending then you should be rebuilding.. and keeping OBJ on that team won't do him any good.

Comes down to how you feel about risk. Higher floor with OBJ side. Much higher ceiling with the package. I’d have too hard a time trusting Hill to stay on the field to pull the trigger I think.

Yes yes yes I agree %100 , You don't move a asset like OBJ for a bunch of question marks and add a 1st on top of it.
