Just completed a trade to get Amari Cooper

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Steal.

Cooper is an excellent player but understandably gets a bad rap because he is so boom/bust in fantasy.

Hopefully he finds his consistent game with the Cowboys. Clear #1, 1st round capital, big contract incoming - and all on a team that loves proving their decisions right. We’ve seen what it looks like when he truly goes off.
14 team Dynasty: second year, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2 Flex, 1K, 1DEF. Default scoring except QB TD 6 points, INT -3 points. Bolded is roughly the base weekly lineup.

QB: Carson Wentz
RB: Saquon Barkley, Todd Gurley
WR: Julio Jones, Adam Thielen, Amari Cooper
TE: Zach Ertz
K: Robbie Gould
DEF: Cowboys
Flex and Sub Options:
QB: Brady, Manning
RB: Mack, Damien Williams, Hines, Dexter Williams
WR: Edelman, Robinson, Boykin, Cain
TE: Warring, Sample
DEF: 49ers, Chiefs

2020: 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd
2021: 1st, 3rd

Thanks guys.

Guy I traded with is in a clear rebuild. Coopers not old but still wont be part of his team once they are ready to compete.

I even told the guy I'd hand over all my draft prep. I've already spent hours and hours on it lol.

It’s not not even close. Smells like a brag thread. The deal is far outside the value exchange the overwhelming majority of leagues would see exchanged.

That's odd. How long does his rebuild stand to take? People count on way too long for rebuilds. If you do it right you'll be pretty solid within 2 years or so

How much can draft picks even be worth in what amounts to a keep 13~ league? No room for patience plays or well, any kind of stashes at all.

This is one of the most ridiculous trades I've seen. The rebuild comment made it worse. But I guess if he's making trades like this he will be rebuilding for 4+ years.

A 2nd round pick has less then a 15% chance of turning into a starter. I would trade 2nds all day for known assets, let alone a budding star like Cooper.

Well in my league you can taxi squad rookies that are drafted for 2 years so they don't clogg up your roster so you are still free to play the wire agressively.

I don't think a rebuild can be done in 2 years prooerly. You can become competitive in 2 years sure but to become dominant it takes 3 or 4 imo
