Moving an elite piece even in a win-now?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which side?

Having Edelman and Robinson to plug in as WR3's is not terrible. With Thielen getting a touch older, I would move him for a shot at the 1.01. - 1.03 since it sounds like the pick is likely to fall in that range.

Most might say when you have a chance to contend you just take it. But if you feel very strongly about this pick being that early (and Theilen being added to the team doesnt effect that) I have no fault in moving Thielen for a potential 1.01 in a really good class.

Thielen seems like the type who can have an Edelman type career and play to his mid 30s though.

It just comes down to which do you think makes your team overall better. And does potentially hurting your chances this year outweigh the prospect kind of internal discussion.

Tough one. In a 14 team league, your roster can definitely still contend. However, it's unquestionably weakened and I worry about WR depth.

Also, your trading partner must be incredibly awful to add Thielen and still likely finish that low. How confident are you about that?
Dynasty League (25 man rosters + 2 IR, non-PPR scoring. QB/3RB/3WR/2TE/K/DB/LB/DL no flex)

QB (1): Herbert, Lawrence, Darnold
RB (3): N. Chubb, D. Henry, J. Taylor, JK Dobbins, Pollard, Singletary, L. Murray
WR (3): D. Hopkins, D. Adams, M. Evans, D.J. Moore, DJ Chark, B. Aiyuk, J. Smith-Schuster, R Bateman, E. Moore
TE (2): I. Smith Jr, H. Henry, Schultz, Tremble

K (1): M. Crosby

DB (1): J. Adams
LB (1): F. Warner
DL (1): D. Lawrence
