Only time I've found its viable to trade out of a high pick is in superflex. Allows others the pressure of taking the elite backs and you can double up on QB and hopefully you get an extra pick.

Maybe depends on league settings somewhat...I think this deal makes more sense in a league with deeper starting requirements. I'd also feel a lot better about it if the pick you were getting back was 1.11 or better, as I think there's a significant tier drop from 1.11 to 1.12 (so at 1.12 you're hoping for at least one of the top 11 picks to reach for someone).
Even if I was inclined to take the deal, I'd make the same offer to other owners with better draft position first.
