Easy Accept?

Postby Z$$$ » Wed Jun 12, 2019 7:16 pm

Team 1 in sig.

Been going back and forth with the Evans owner and this is his latest.

Give: Kupp, Pettis, 1.05, 1.06, 1.09
Get: Evans and 2020 1st

Guy had pick 1.06 last year and 1.07 this year. So I would guess the pick to be mid-late in 2020. He already has picks 1.07 and 1.08 this year so he has a good shot with all 5 picks to have 1 or 2 hit and the 2020 be a later pick.

Thanks!
12 Team 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1Flex, 5IDP
QB: Rodgers, Love
RB: Achane, Gibson, Dillon, Sanders
WR: Jefferson, Lamb, G Wilson, Rice, Burks
TE: Goedert, Likely, Musgraves
2024 Picks: 1.04, 1.05, 1.11

16 Team 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
QB: Stafford, Fields
RB: Gibbs, Singletary, Dallas, Juszczyk
WR: Lamb, Burks, G Wilson, JSN, Q Johnson, Hardman, Goodwin
TE: Dulcich, Albert O, Gray, Granson

For me:
Evans > Kupp+Pettis
2020 1st < 1.05+1.06+1.09

But given depth of 2020 class, and Evans being truly an elite asset, I'd probably take Evans side in a bubble. But I don't find this to be a steal.

If you think you can weather giving up 5 for 1 (plus 1 next year) then I'd probably do it. But man that's a lot of pieces.

Good call. That price was a bit steep.

Too much, and based on your team I’d look to address RB then WR.

Evans side for me... though I do think it is an overpay on the other side... just too many uncertains. A lot of value if everything hits. But Kupp is the only lock, Pettis has upside but that is currently it. Never know what the draft picks will do. Evans is a locked in stud and the 2020 class is stacked.

Those 3 picks fall on similarly tiered players. If your trade partner balks at removing the highest one, I'd counter by removing the 1.06, then the 1.08 as a last resort. Either way, if you an keep a 1st this year, I'd move the other pieces for Evans and a 1st next year.
