I don't see how people would vote anything but an A...with the picks you had you got some great players. Getting Henderson and Hardman at 1.8 and 2.1 are steals (DH has gone 1.4 and 1.5 in the last two drafts I did, and Hardman never slipped out of the first round). I would like to see who was at 3.1 where you took Irv, but the value was good for him as well.

I disagree that Hardman and Henderson are steals. They may be going higher on average, but I don't want anything to do with either of them at that price. I also think it's impossible to accurately grade someone's draft without seeing every pick and any trades that went down during the draft.

Well, not everyone agrees. I think Henderson at 1.08 is too early, I am not a believer of this echo chamber of hype that is pushing his ADP up. Hardman will be good value only IF Hill does not play for the Chiefs after this season.

EDIT: Just saw your above post. So you are saying Henderson is consistently going ahead of 1.08 now? That's awesome, I have 1.08 and other picks after that, I'm hoping someone takes Henderson ahead of me.

Really depends on who else was drafted where.

But, I think you really made a mistake with Henderson at 1.08. He's going to be behind Brown and Gurly this year, and Gurly for the foreseeable future. I think you would have been much better off grabbing a WR there. I think Fant at 1.11 is okay but again it depends on the WRs available. In a 1TE league with no premium, Rudolph is perfectly fine. Hardman pick, again depends on who is there, but I think you overspent on hype. Irv I like.

Overall I'd say its a poor draft. BUT!!! If these are your guys, I think its critical to get your guys.

Here are the results of the drafts I've been in so far:
Henderson - 1.10 | 2.2 | 1.6 | 2.1 | 1.8 | 1.6 | 1.6 | 1.6 | 1.5 | 1.4* (draft is still going and we are at 1.9)
Hardman - 1.8 | 1.8 | 1.8 | 1.4 | 1.5 |1.9 | 1.7 | 1.8 | 1.11

I'm not making a judgement on whether these players should be going where they are going, I am just reporting where I have seen them go. Maybe "steal" was too strong of a work, but from what I have seen they were good values at 1.8 and 2.1

Agree. I think you did quite well. To dig one's heals in on opinions (overly positive / or / overly negative) of players in this draft is a mistake. It is quite likely that players drafted in the mid to late 1st and even into the 2nd round could be better prospects and assets than players taken in the top 3 - in one calendar year from now. In my honest opinion, Jacobs fans are drafting him based off of situation, Same with Montgomery. Talent wise, these two rb are really nothing close to elite players.

To be overly negative on Henderson is a mistake only because there is no way that anyone here knows the future of how Gurley will be used, or how long he will be fantasy relevant. Brown isn't someone anyone should worry about in dynasty formats when it comes to Henderson's outlook in my opinion. I'm not hyping Henderson nor am I super high on him. He does have upside, big play ability, and, in that offense, he could be HUGE. So, with all that said, taking him mid first - is completely rational. There are some nice potential wr's that can and should be considered, but, lets not pretend there are great landing spots for them as AJ Brown - situation sucks, Harry - short term ok, maybe, long term - who frickin knows, M.Brown - horrible landing spot, DK - run first team and raw, Hardman - nearly all situation driven, questions remain about his role, how he'll acclimate to the NFL, etc, etc. So lots of question marks with little certainty. Also, drafting those two TE where you did - is smart. Rudolph may be serviceable in the short term, but, since TE typically take some time to percolate, you now have TWO blue chip talents that can fill that void when it inevitably arrives.

Think ahead - that is what you did in your draft, and - I tip my cap. Well done.
Truth is found through Evidence.

I think Henderson should be going in the 2nd (although I know his market value is through the roof right now), and I'm guessing someone like Deebo, JJAW or Hollywood was available at 2.1, all of whom I'd prefer over Hardman. I'd give this a B-, with the caveat that it's more like an A- if you can sell Henderson to the Gurley owner at a premium.

Truth is no one can rate ANY draft. There are so many variables. My own personal opinion is this is a high "C"/low "B" draft.

Henderson at 1.08 is --in my opinion--way to early. I have a second round grade on him--and nothing has changed. For Henderson to be worth it at 1.08--Gurley has to be almost done--. Is that true--?? Only time will tell. but My opinion is he is not--and Gurley will still get 70%--.

I don't mind Fant at 1.11. I struggle to pick TEs in the first round --but I do like Fant--and I do like where he went--

Hardman--sorry to say is a waste--Three years down the road we will be saying Mecole who?

I like Smith--I do. But taking Fant early makes this a superfluous pick.

This is my opinion--

I think you took Henderson too early but he could have a big role, so like all the picks right now, it's up in the air. I like the TE's you took. Tough to grade a draft but overall I think you took some good upside players.
