On the clock with 2.01: draft or trade for Freeman

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

On the clock with 2.01: draft or trade for Freeman

Postby myndflyte » Wed May 22, 2019 6:36 pm

For team 1 in sig, I got an offer of:

Give: 2.01, 3.08
Get: Royce Freeman

I feel like he is valued around the 2.01 but is it worth it to throw in a 3rd too?

Always matters who is still left on the board. Give us the start of the draft.

Who would you take here? I am leaning toward the picks. Hockenson or Fant will give you some continuity as Kelce ages out over the next 4 years. I like Deebo for you as well.

Yeah but he is turning 30 this year. I see the point that I need a replacement. I think I'm going to go with Hock and see what RBs are available at 2.06.

I would go for Deebo here. There's a chance that Hockenson or Fant will still be there at 2.06. I wouldn't bother with any of the other RBs in this class. Outside of maybe Damien Harris, I don't think they will ever amount to anything.
