Hopkins trade

Postby DynastyNewb » Tue May 21, 2019 6:10 pm

hi all so this guy came to me wanting to know what I want for Hopkins for my team 2 in my signature, I said let me look. Guys I am interested in are Kerryon, bell, Kenan allen, Godwin, Ridley, and pettis. So I was wondering what people think I should try to get for Hopkins. Trying to get different aspects of what people values of Hopkins are.

Thanks

So after weeks without talking about this he came back to asking what I need to add to Allen to get Hopkins. He traded away Godwin, Ridley and kerryon. So now the guys I like are bell, Allen, pettis, and Samuel. Should I ask for all 4 or hold.

Sub out Pettis for Johnson. If he wants Hopkins, cash in.

You need RB help. I'd want Bell, KJ, and KA. If you need to throw a pick onto Hopkins, that's fine too.

I wouldn't trade Hopkins for all of those players combined. You need a legitimate stud and then some for Hopkins. Those are nice pieces but none of them are surefire studs
10 Man IDP, .75 ppr, Big Play Bonus, TE Prem, 2 QB, 1-3 RB, 2-4 WR, 2 TE, 2 DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, 4 DB, 34 Keepers (17 off - 17 IDP)
QB: Watson, Lawrence, Tannehill, Fitzmagic
RB: Jacobs, Javonte, Drake, Mack
WR: Thomas, DJ Moore, Mike Williams, Golladay, Mooney, Kirk, Shepard, Parker
TE: Kittle, Ito Smith, Ebron, Bryant, Seals-Jones
DT: Simmons, Cox, Oliver, Vea
DL: Bosa, Hunter, Heyward, Greenard, Odeyingbo
LB: Watt, White, Cunningham, Kirksey
DB: Collins, Duggar, J Reid, Clark, Edmunds

12 Man, 1 ppr, 1 QB, 1-3 RB, 1-3 WR, 1 TE
QB: Tua, Jameis, Cam, Taysom
RB: Taylor, Javonte, CEH
WR: Jefferson, Nuk, Diontae, Juju, Shepard, Mooney, Robby Anderson
TE: Henry, Gesicki, Brevin, Cook

12 Man, 1 ppr, 1 QB, 1-3 RB, 1-3 WR, 1 TE
QB: Russ, Matty Ice, Tannehill
RB: CMC, Dobbins, Sanders. Scott, Mack
WR: Nuk, Keenan, Mooney, Patrick, Collins, Dyami

Bell + Allen + Ridley for Hopkins straight up.

I always have a hard time with guys asking what do you want for a stud. If he wants him so bad he should make an offer. But I think the above is a good starting point since he is making you come up with something.
10-Team League, Non-PPR (QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, WR/RB/TE)
QB: Love, Watson, Cousins
RB: JT, Kyren, BRob, Roschon, Miles
WR: AJB, Wilson, Waddle, Puka, Higgins, Hopkins, Jeudy, Jameson Williams
TE: Okonkwo, Thomas
2024: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th

This 100% I get this probably once a week from guys. I always ask what they're offering right away or I ask for a bit of an overpay for their laziness.

You need rb help. I would keep Hopkins and trade Julio or AJG for RB help.

I agree with Troy, if he came to you he should make the offer. When anyone ask what I want, it’s 100% guaranteed an over pay. Then they squawk, and I say then don’t ask.

As for the trade thoughts, I would keep Hopkins. Or explore other options throughout league, assuming you do want to trade him.

I would hold Hopkins for that second offer. Allen has injury issues and Bell has had a huge workload thus far in his career, so I wouldn't give up a young stud for either.

Would he be interested in a Julio for Bell trade instead? I think you should look into moving AJG and Julio for a stud RB before moving Hopkins.

With a player like Hopkins, you don't move him unless it is a major overpay. If you have to think if it is a good offer, it isn't enough.
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts
