On the clock 1.09

I am on the clock with draft pick 1.09. 2 teams before me forfeited their picks, so they received nothing.( I got Sanders with my 1.04.) So my pick is really 1.07. My team is sig 2. I could take Hock or Fant for TE. Or I could go with A.J. Brown. What does everyone think I should do ? Thanks for the help.

Nice. But ultimately I'd start looking for a new league. Skipping picks will just make it harder to replace owners and make the current owners less interested in staying active

If they can't be bothered to make a pick in a 12 hour span they deserved to be skipped.

To the OP: Getting Njoku and the 2.02 for the 1.09 was a great deal. There should still be some nice prospects in the early 2nd.

I agree, but my concern is that it's a league with inactive owners already. Most people are jacked up to do a rookie draft. How do 2 guys time out on a 12 hour clock, back to back? The 2nd guy had 24 hours to figure out what he was doing. WTF?

The bigger issue for me would be finding out how and why something like this happens. Someone is at fault, either commish or owners...and id want to make sure its corrected or owners replaced.

For sure. If you can't be around for your first round rookie pick, you have to go. Unless you're in the hospital, or something. If it's the commissioners fault,( not sure how it would be if all the other guys know it's draft time), but if it's his fault, that's an even bigger problem.

I am in quite a few of the Quest fantasy leagues. They were bought out this season and closed a large number of leagues. Last year the former group gave 2 and 3 years for one paid year, when you bought an orphan team. When the new group took over, they closed leagues that had 4 or more orphans. I am assuming that these 2 teams were not paying attention to the message boards and emails that were sent out stating when the draft would be. If the league your in is not full as of May 18th, then the drafts are delayed. When the leagues fill completely then we will be told when to draft.

After I traded for Njoku and 2.02. I traded again, 2.02 for 2.06 and 2.12. So in the end I gave 1.09 and got Njoku, 2.06 and 2.12.
