Jacobs for Sanders+ advice

So just had the rookie draft and the Sanders owner wants to trade for Jacobs. At this stage he has offered Sanders and a 2020 3rd for Jacobs which I will not do. However what are your thoughts on the following options.

Jacobs for Sanders & Dede Westbrook
Jacobs for Sanders & 2020 2nd
Jacobs for Sanders and DK Metcalf (and I will need to send something back)

I like Jacobs a lot more than Sanders personally , But if you can get DK added in cheap I would take it

Its interesting...when speaking of it with players, yea, its harder to make the trade (going from Jacobs to Sanders). BUT, had you been sitting OTC at 1.02...and the guy at 1.03 said "I will send you a 2020 2nd if you are willing to trade back to the 1.03", most would be all over it. So yea, give me Sanders and the 2020 2nd (assuming you dont have to add to Jacobs to pull it off).

I am actually torn between Jacobs and Sanders anyway. I know the Jacobs has a clear shot to carries but Sanders is a better overall running back in a better offense. Jacobs will get more carries this year but I think in years sanders maybe thee better back

I like that counter, and I would take it in a heartbeat.

I personally have sanders over Jacobs, but I understand consensus value vs my own board. Aka I’d have still drafted Jacobs 1.01 if had it. But I’d be looking for a move exactly like this.

Also as a disclaimer: I do expect Jacobs to outscore sanders this year, I feel like gruden isn’t kidding about featuring him. And, I could just be flat wrong.

I have Sanders above Jacobs as well, and I understand that “consensus value” means very little in a market of 11. Unless I was absolutely certain that I could get Sanders+ for Jacobs, I wouldn’t hesitate to take Sanders at 1.01.

To the OP, it never hurts to try, but I’d be surprised if anyone added a 1st to Sanders to get Jacobs and a 2nd. If they go for it, that’s awesome, but I’d still be plenty happy with Sanders and a 2nd.

I would not move Jacobs for that personally. I think he's easily the 1.01. I like Sanders a lot, but I feel Jacobs will translate into a 3 down workhorse, as long as he can handle the work load. That is my only concern with him. His skill set is legit, and at 220 lbs I would rather take the shot on Jacobs.

It was a tough call but I like the value I get back. Jacobs will outscore Sanders Y1 but Y2 will be interesting and let’s face it I want that 2020 1.01!
