Yes, I just drafted Henderson at the 3.4 in a 10 team league so that should be his approximate value. The Gurley owner has of course reached out to me since our draft last week and been trying to get him. His most recent offer was Delanie Walker, 2020 3rd, and 100 faab. Faab in this league carry over year to year, with whatever spent the year before split up evenly between all the teams. We all started with 300 each a few years ago and currently everyone is between 200 and 400. I'm on the low end because I spent everything I had to get Damien Williams after the Hunt Punt and Ware's injury.
Value wise that's definitely there for a mid 3rd pick, but I can't shake that I still want to hold him and not simply make a fair trade so another team can have the handcuff. Am I being irrational here?

He's more valuable to a Gurley owner than that. Put the screws on. Personally, for the little draft capital you spent on him, I would rather wait and see if his stock rises, because of all the guys you could grab in the 3rd round, he is one that could end up being worth much more than that, especially in that LA offense.

It sounds like that's a lot of FAAB for your league, and Walker could be a TE1 again this year if he stays healthy. If you're a contender and need TE help, it's a solid offer. If you want to hold Henderson for upside though, nothing wrong with that. Maybe hold for now and hope for Gurley to miss a day of OTAs and a highlight clip of Henderson to come out and get a 2nd though.

I'm thinking I'm gonna hold. His value as merely a Gurley handcuff with be 3rd and a sprinkle on top so that's its floor unless he gets hurt or bombs training camp and pre season.
