That's mythical levels of best case happening here tho
100%, I don't think it's unlikely that McCoy and Gore are both washed. I actually don't consider Gore a threat at all. Last season was the first time since his rookie year he carried less than 200 times, which is amazing. But he's going to be 36 years old. I imagine we see 100ish touches out of him and he calls it a career. It wouldn't even be surprising if he hung it up later this summer.

McCoy has seen his yards/carry dip drastically the last 2 seasons. There's a strong change his career is winding down as well.

Ben Rothlisberger extends his contract through 2021, at $34m per year.

Kinda surprised he wanted that much. Guess he hasn't learned anything from watching Tom Brady win/play in Superbowls. I understand a younger guy like Russel Wilson cashing in with his 2nd contract, but this is Big Bens 4th or 5th contract. Come on, leave a little money on the table. Give the organization extra powder to grab a couple good free agents.

Now it explains why he was pushing Bell & AB out - he wanted to get paid.

Spencer ware signed by the Colts.

Really good landing spot IMO, as he could become the primary handcuff to an injury-prone Mack in a high-powered offense that wants to run the ball.

ESPN is suggesting that following the major investment in running backs made by the Bills via free agency and the draft, LeSean McCoy could be traded by the deadline in October.
Analysis: It's certainly not out of the question. McCoy is in the last year of his deal and will turn 31 in July. The Bills added T.J. Yeldon and Frank Gore in free agency and then invested a third round pick in Devin Singletary during the 2019 NFL Draft. Gore, himself, is no spring chicken at nearly 36 years of age leaving Yeldon as a sneaky off-the-radar sleeper heading into the season. Singletary will need time to adjust to the NFL while Yeldon is far more accomplished, including in pass protection, on down and distance situations. McCoy's fate may depend on the BIll's playoff prospects heading into the trade deadline but any way you slice it, his time in Buffalo is nearing an end. McCoy is found as a fading RB54 in DLF's dynasty running back rankings.

Nice wide open TE depth chart. No guarantees of course - but at least he has a shot. 8-)

Yeldon only has a dead cap of $250K, so if the Bills were to cut a RB this summer is seems like he would be the odd man out. Based on the lack of market for him and how long it took to sign this may just be a tryout type contract.

I think you may have mis-read the contract. He has a 2 year deal, the first year has 500k dead cap (same as Gore), the 2nd year drops to 250k.

Either way does not mean he is safe - just that his cap hit isnt easier than Gores. The Bills have the 2nd most $ tied to the RB/FB position after the 49ers, thanks in part, of course, to LeSean McCoy.

You do not need to be Sherlock to know that having Dr. Watson on their Patriots mind may be a bad thing for ASJ (and who may become criminally overrated).
