The recent injury news, the resigning of AP, and the 4th round pick on Love have me a little worried. I would definitely move him for Josh Jacobs at this point but I'd still rather keep him over anyone else in this draft.
Team 1 - 12 team PPR

RB: SBarkley, DSwift, CAkers, JMixon, AJDillon, LMurray, DarWilliams, GBernard
WR: SDiggs, ACooper, BAiyuk, JJones, LShenault, BCooks, KToney, KHamler, VJefferson
TE: JSmith, ISmith, ZErtz

Team 2 - 16 team, PPR, SF
QB: JBurrow, CWentz, ZWilson, Jimmy G
RB: SBarkley, DSwift, CAkers, BSnell, TGurley, DGuice
WR: JChase, BAiyuk, CSutton, THiggins, JJeudy, JReagor, BEdwards

I sent the 1.05 + 2.07 for him in SF and i'm pretty happy with that. I don't know where this injury news is coming from that Schefer tweeted about, it seems like old news as we already knew months ago it was a slower recovery due to the extra surgeries. Guice refutes the story as well and basically says his recovery since then has been going fine. If you are counting on Guice to be a bellcow this year then your expectations may be too high. I'm hoping he'll be fully ready to go in 2020 when AP will be gone, Chris thompson will be gone, and another year removed from the injury. Bryce Love is just insurance as a backup when those 2 leave after the season. As a prospect he'd probably be the 1.01 in this class, maybe 1a 1b with Harry. I think he will eventually be used on all 3 downs as well, I don't understand why he wouldn't be. He can pass block and catch just fine.

Guice is one of those polarizing players. I wasn’t much of a fan prior to his NFL injury so wouldn’t target him anyway.

If one is a believer then a mid first makes sense.

The Love pick was telling. The fact Guice fell so far last year was also telling. Backs usually need only minimal develop time and that is usually pass protection related.

Too much risk for me.

Whoever took him last year is a believer so IMO will overvalue him.

Good Luck chasing this player, he has talent but there are plenty of big red blinking warning lights.

I guess we have nothing to worry about then.

I think expectations may be a bit high on Guice being a 3 down back. He can catch alright, and block alright, but in this day and age there are just better options for that 3rd down role. I think he projects more as a 2 down back in the NFL, personally.

As for his value, owners remain high on him, but are still looking to cash out a lot of places. Was offered Guice for the 1.02 and 1.09 in a SF/TE premium league, which I instantly shot down. I would not even pay the 1.02 alone, let alone that. It amazes me that people think a players value should go up despite not doing anything AND suffering a major injury.

I own him in another league (not in sig), and can’t even sell him for a mid 2019 First or probable late 2020 First.

I don’t mind holding him, but I wanted to at least explore his market. It’s pretty bare, ATM

Not exactly new, but concerning none-the-less. This has the ring of truth to it to me. We should find out pretty soon if he's really on track for camp or not.

Love was a value pick. Too good to pass up on in the 4th when last year, before he got hurt he would have been a 1st or 2nd rounder. If they are concerned about Guice's injury why did they get a guy with the same injury? AP is there to ease Guice into the lead back role. You can never have too much depth at the RB position. I'm not too worried about this. If you can find a scared owner, I'd buy now. Last year, everyone was saying Guice would be the 1.01 in this years draft since he pretty much redshirted his rookie year. I still agree with that sentiment.

Not all ACL’s are the same....everyone reacts differently to injury.... just saying....

Not everyone; I know several who thought he was overrated. There were also a lot of RB,s chosen ahead of Guice by NFL teams.

A bit surprised so many in fantasy overlook that point or just dismiss it.

Agreed with everything here. I was pounding the table around here that Chubb was better, and , also had Penny ahead of him post draft. If you pay 1.01, you are severely overpaying for Guice. His career outlook is looking very shaky right now. To say Guice would have been a first or 2nd rounder is easy to say because he didn't play, but to assume he would have just walked his way into the first round of startups is ridiculous. Look at the players going there. Everything that has happened with his ACL is concerning, from the 3 additional surgeries to the stiffness he's experiencing. He may never be the same player, we just don't know at this point, and we don't know what he would have been before the injury.

Here's hoping for some RB2 production which i expect to be the high end of possible production.

If he can be an adequate bye week fill in this year id be ok with that.

Guice the prospect is better than anyone this year and only behind Saquon last year, as far as I'm concerned. His injury is my only current concern. If healthy and at full strength, I have no concerns. I'm kinda having trouble following the current discussion here.
