Maybe i'm underestimating them, they left Gesicki until pick 2.06 last season and I got Goedert in the middle/late 3rd round. It's also SF so I'd expect 3 QB's to go in the 1st round as well.jenkins.math wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 8:35 amIf both Fant and Hockenson are there at pick 14 in a TE premium league then your league mates are totally clueless.Titans95 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 7:50 amI've got pick 11 and pick 14 in one of my rookie drafts, I'm not sure how it'll all shakeout but I expect Fant/Hockenson/Brown all to be there with the 14th pick. No idea what his is, but I'd guess Lindsay was playing at 180-185 last season at RB. Either way, the NFL isn't that physical anymore from a hit standpoint.

Swift and Ettiene aside, no-one has a clue how next year's class will stack up to this one.
Last year was epic for RBs. This year was never supposed to be. Instead, having happily drafted some good smaller receivers in recent years we were waiting for the big boys to arrive. We worried pre-combine that maybe they weren't big. They are. Maybe they would all be slow. They're fast. It's just so much cooler though to be a cynic. Everyone is dreadful. No-one can play...

Ok Forza, with this approach, you might value situation over talent. Perhaps you see Campbell as equally talented to Brown or Kneal or whomever and that landing spot is your tie breaker. But... be careful of over drafting players that land in a perceived good landing spot.Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 7:58 am If Parris Campbell goes to KC in Round 1 (I've seen a couple mocks place him there) ... he's shoots up to 1.01 for me.

Re: Josh Jacobs Pro Day
My evaluation of him is A+ athlete that was held back by his offense/QB until last year so it's hard to determine how could of a receiver he really is. He likely has to improve his route running and his concentration, but I couldn't think of a better coach to help him develop than Andy Reid. It's not just a good landing spot because of KCs production ... it's a good landing spot because Reid is so good at knowing how to utilize the talents of his players.JFever wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 10:13 amOk Forza, with this approach, you might value situation over talent. So I guess I am saying that Campbell has the talent and being in the right situation will allow him to showcase it ... kind of like Michael Thomas who wasn't that impressive coming out of OSU.
Re: Josh Jacobs Pro Day
No idea where he gets drafted but he is a really good player. Think he may surprise on NFL draft day and go higher than many think. Round 1 is not out of the question but probably a lock round 2 pick.Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 10:34 amMy evaluation of him is A+ athlete that was held back by his offense/QB until last year so it's hard to determine how could of a receiver he really is. Re: Josh Jacobs Pro Day
Fair enough. I liked what I saw from Campbell but, I didn't see a potential top 3-5 wr in the NFL. That could change though, I admit. I guess it goes to show us a little about this draft then. I myself don't see Campbell in the same light as you do. I also don't own the 1.01 anywhere. So... I guess it isn't a huge problem for me. My earliest pick is the 1.03 or 1.04 I think. I'll be taking BPA regardless of landing spot with my pick. Not sure whom it will be yet... Tough year to have an early pick or to have invested in multiple 2019 picks.

Campbell will need some manufactured touches to get going while he develops. He has some Harvin/Patterson vibes in how he's able to impact a game. It definitely seems like he'll get drafted higher than anyone initially thought.

Lol ... I’m sorry. I’m partly responsible for derailing the threa ... but I look at it as a public service so that this thread didn’t become like all the Metcalf 3 cone drill threads.

Metcalf slipped on a single drill, one which has little relevance to running routes or catching passes. If anyone thinks he has Tom Brady athleticism, dont draft him and let him drop.Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 4:00 pmLol ... I’m sorry.
