Evaluating my IDP situation

Postby sesame street thugz » Wed Jun 29, 2011 3:08 pm

I am in a 12 team PPR league that is going into it's 4th year. This year we added IDPs and will start 1-DL, 1-LB and 1-DB. I have never played in an IDP and would appreciate anyone's opinion on how I am looking at IDP and any IDP specific suggetions.

Key scoring rules:

DL gets 3pts/solo, 1pt/assist, 8pts/sack.

LB/DB gets 2pts/solo, 1pt/assist, 6pts/sack

My IDPs:

DL: Trent Cole, Elvis Dumervil, John Abraham, Jabal Sheard

LB: Lawrence Timmons, James Anerson, DeAndre Levy, Mason Foster

DB: LaRon Landry, Patrick Chung, Jaiquwan Jarret

Thanks for any replies!

for only starting one of each position you are sitting pretty well...I would look at carrying fewer DL ...maybe 2 solid ones like COle and Dumervil and try to pick up some more LBs...they are the RBs of the defense and will be better trade bait and throw ins on trades over DL and DB...you are going to be reall happy with Dumervil and Cole at DL and Landry, Chung and Jarret at DB... your LBs are thin after Timmons...Anderson and Levy's value may be effected by FA once it hits Foster is a great looking prospect IMO...great draft

Looks pretty good since you only start one at each position.
