I have no words.
I like AB but I'm starting to see why many teams might take the hard pass even as talented as Brown is. I think it's starting to creep into his value. I think he can't be trusted at this point. It's like a split personality the player and the person but the person seems to be affecting the player or at least the value of the player. I would be cringing if I was a GM trying to talk ownership into taking AB on after that interview.
Has to make you wonder what Drew Rosenhaus is thinking of this interview or what he thought about having AB doing something like this interview. I can't see how this helped him in any way.

Four thoughts-
1. What if the reason SF and GB and NE aren't openly involved is that they think they can trade for Beckham instead?
2. What if it's because they're all planning on drafting WRs?
3. Oakland would be fine for AB. It was only 2016 when a healthy Carr supported WR 12 and 14 seasons out of Crabtree and Cooper. Washington would be a dumpster fire.
4. Tennessee would probably be bad, but AB would be the perfect type of WR for Mariota. Watching him, he's just not comfortable throwing 50/50 balls. AB still might be the best WR in the league at creating the type of separation that Mariota feels comfortable with. Dak had the same problem with Dez, but has no problem peppering Amari with targets. I almost wonder if just straight up swapping Brown for Davis makes sense for both sides.

There's karmic justice if AB ends up at any of the 3 cellar-dweller teams mentioned. And he thinks it was bad with Ben & the steelers? oy vey.
It's almost as if he has no idea what he wants. If he wanted to go to a contender or near contender (Green Bay, SF, Seattle, or even the Pats) his "me 1st, 2nd, and 3rd" attitude has destroyed any chance. How does he not get that? Dude just STFU and maybe one of those ships may've come in. Not'ny more.
No sir, feels to me like AB's in full on destruction mode. Unfortunately, seems as if he's going to be lost at sea before he wakes up. As a multi-league AB owner, this is un-good.

Either he's trying to steer himself away from certain teams, or he's bleep nuts. Possibly both.

Good point. I gave difficulties seeing Beckham getting dealt, but it's been mentioned enough times I could see that being the thought process for a team.OhCruelestRanter wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2019 11:46 amWhat if the reason SF and GB and NE aren't openly involved is that they think they can trade for Beckham instead?

He’s clearly threatening to hold out. I don’t think he’ll play for the Steelers even if they don’t trade him.

I think “play by my rules” was a very poor choice of words, but I actually get his sentiment in the interview. All he was saying, IMO, is that he has nothing to prove to anyone and wants to play football on his terms, which is fair. He’s said a lot of questionable stuff this offseason but that didn’t bother me much,

Rapoport now says the top three are Raiders, Cardinals, and Broncos. Probably a better crop than Titans/Redskins, at least.

No kidding. Brown must think he is a basketball player or something. NO one questions his ability but that brain is becoming quite the issue.
