Why does it matter if they have a big split in 40 times? Haven't heard of that being a cause for concern before.

Think it just means with them being unofficial to wait for the real times.

There's probably a typo. Harris ran 4.58 and then 4.64.

Henderson with a much better 2nd run. Sub 4.4.

Holyfield won't be getting picked by me in the first or 2nd round for sure in any rookie drafts.

Would agree. Holyfield’s times are definitely not good.

40 times aren't everything, but good lord this is a slow class. To me, the RB group wasn't strong on paper entering the combine, but now the physical profiles are starting to match that.

40s won’t make a player for me, but they can certainly break a player for me.

You guys gotta chill on 40 times. They should only be used to verify what we see on film.

Henderson looks fast, he is fast. Holyfield was never a speed back, so his 40 time was never supposed to be a 4.5.

Hall of Famer Terrell Davis was never a speed back, and he ran a 4.7 40 time. That wasn't his strength. In my review of RBs, I never once mentioned speed as a trait of his.

The dude can't catch a football. That should be a bigger concern.

You look at someone like Derrick Henry for instance, who didn't catch much, but at least has the speed to be useful if he is thrown the ball, can break tackles and make people miss. I don't know how you use Holyfield in the passing game

On Holyfield, for me, it’s the cumulative effect. He doesn’t catch the ball at all and does t have speed. So that means, to me at least, that he will be a 2 down plodder. The overly physical runners that rely purely on strength just aren’t common in the league right now.
