Given Patricia wants to play Run all day, I’d take cooks side. I see Henry and Coleman to be equal risk/reward at present

This seems like a very even trade value-wise. If you prefer Cooks over Golladay, then I'd take it.

I would rather have Golladay then Cooks but the trade seems fair both ways

Everyone hates Cooks... he's way ahead of Golladay. That's all that matters in this trade. The rest is close

I dont hate Cooks. He is a lot more than just speed. He runs good routes and has a great feel for beating zone defenses. He destroys slower corners. Trade comes down to preferences/perceptions. I like Golliday. The Lions have a good line, good rb, and a gun slinger at qb. He may not throw for 4500 again, but he will still be in the 3700 - 4000 range. He will get enough targets to finish as a Wr1, and I have seen a ton of really hard/nice catches from him. He is younger, bigger. That why I like the Golliday side better.

Cooks should be worth Golladay + Henry + 2.01 by himself, IMO. Golladay hype is unreal. Golladay is the same age as Cooks, way less proven, needs more development, and is on a worse offense.

The only way this trade makes sense is if you get huge point bonuses for having the largest starting lineup or something.

I’m surprised the non Love on cooks. I see him as a very attainable wr1/2.

Cooks is easily the best player in this deal and I'd much rather have that side of the deal.

Cooks is clearly the best player in this deal but I think I’d take the Golladay/Henry side. I’d imagine we’re going to get at least what we got last year from Golladay every year going forward, but his ceiling is a stud top 5 WR. Yeah, Golladay was only a low-end WR2 compared to Cooks being a high-end WR2 in 2018, but the difference between them was only 2-3 TDs. With less defensive attention when Jones/Kerryon return (plus they’ll proly draft a third WR to open up defenses) and an offseason to further improve his chemistry with Stafford I’d imagine 70-1,100-8 is a very doable, if not probable stat line for Golladay next year which would equal the type of year Cooks pops out every year. Cooks is safer sure but I think we’ve already seen something close to his ceiling and as discussed above, his and Golladay’s floors seem similar going forward.

I think Henry is far superior to Coleman though which swings this trade imo. The coaching staff would be foolish to not give him 18+ carries per game after the team’s collective finish last year and we’ve already seen him produce like a stud top 5 RB in his current situation for 4 straight games. Not only could Coleman go to an awful situation, but he has also never proven he can be a workhorse or RB1 if he’s the starter.

Overall, the Golladay side has a much higher collective ceiling while having only a slightly lower floor.

i have this as pretty easily golladay and henry.

you get a better pick, a WR who has no chance of scoring drastically less than cooks, and a Rb locked into a workhorse role.

im not understanding all the votes for the cooks side AT ALL

cooks and golladay scored 5 TD each and were only 150 yards apart. golladay had only 10 less catches. this was in a down year for stafford and also they shipped off golden tate, opening more opportunity for golladay going forward, the passing offense should also open up with the return of a healthy KJ, cooks opportunity should decrease with a healthy kupp and if they wanna keep reynolds involved at all that situation just keeps getting more crowded.

if anyone has an argument beyond cooks has done it 4 straight years i would love to hear it.
