Offered a second (he's stacked at RB) and told it would take two 1sts.

I'm considering offering 2.01 (13th overall, 1QB league) for him in one of my leagues when trading opens back up after the season. I already have 6 1st round picks, so I'll have plenty of opportunity to add the guys I really want but they'll all most likely be WRs. I'm sure the other owner will ask for more, in which case I'm probably out on trading for him, but gotta ask the question before I can know the answer. I think it's about right on the risk/reward scale and I'm in good position to take a moderate risk with that pick.

A friend of mine is in a league where an owner cut him for Zack Zenner....

Not selling. Shady was going for a single 3rd in my leagues and look how that ended. Not that his on field performance was great. Different story, but I think hold is the answer unless there is a solid offer. This year is a lost cause for Hunt owners as far as he goes, but he could be back sometime early next year, ya never know.

There's been much worse done by players in the league. Just hold onto Hunt until he signs with another club. He's a top 5 RB. No reason to sell a day after he's released amidst all the chaos.

I have a share of Hunt, is he really a top 5 RB? I saw him closer to a top 15 rb in a top 5 situation.

This is worse than I originally thought.

College, September 1, 2015: Suspended first two (2) games of the season for violation of team rules during the summer. What he did is unknown, the school didn't elaborate on it, other than to say "It's one of those policies that we have in place; it's certainly not an issue, in my mind, whether those are academic or social mistakes............". https://www.cleveland.com/sports/colleg ... nt_su.html

February 2018: Altercation video with a woman that surfaced yesterday.

June 2018: Hunt was also involved in a separate altercation with a man: "Hunt also was involved in a June incident, according to TMZ, in which he allegedly punched a man at an Ohio resort. The man Hunt struck declined to press charges". https://www.cleveland.com/sports/2018/1 ... ident.html

The NFL and Chiefs knew about the February incident; but the Chiefs cut him for not being truthful about it in several interviews with members of the Chiefs management. Not surprised about him being cut by the Chiefs, lying, falsifying documents and records is a termination offense at every company that I have ever worked for. I also remember Baltimore supported Ray Rice and he had a two (2) game suspension, until a video surfaced being worse than what the NFL and Ravens had been led to believe happened.

I'm probably going to look at moving on from Hunt; because I've learned my lessons with habitual offenders and habitually injured players clogging my roster.

He was barely a top 5 RB in KC.

He is not a top 10-15 RB anywhere else.

He is a media dictated "thug" now. He is not a top anything.

A bunch of league settings you won't read anyways....numbers and such

QB - A guy with only one or two good years left in the tank
RB1 - A guy who stands charged with several minor crimes (Guilty until proven, right?)
RB2 - Young guy that is only good because of his offensive line and workload
WR1 - A guy whose metrics make up for his stone hands
WR2 - A dude who is probably too short to catch the ball
TE - This guy played basketball, right?
DEF & K - I guess we are still doing this .. :wall: ...

Hunt wasn't even a top 5 RB in my 0.5 PPR, he is the #7 RB; and that was playing at K.C. I really don't think Hunt will have that good of situation on another team.

Agree. While there will be a team(s) willing to sign Hunt, his marketability will be some what limited, as some teams won't even consider touching him.

He crushed it last year with smith and stacked boxes. He'll be fine. It's absurd to imply mahomes and hill are the reason why he's doing well this year.

Who said that? Being a "Chief" made him great. A RB friendly scheme with a commitment to using one RB as a workhorse.

The Bengals ought to pick up Hunt. Him and Mixon would be a great 1-2 punch.

I remember people saying he had poor metrics and his value/production was driven by his situation. Will be interesting to see where his value settles.

Depending on the state of my team the most I could see giving for him is a late 1 or early 2. More than that and its not worth the risk IMO. Saying that I doubt many Hunt owners sell for that.
