Mark Ingram for Golladay?
Team in sig, standard scoring. I know value wise it makes sense for me, but not sure if my starting lineup gets better or worse with this trade. Theoretically Cook should be able to take over Ingram's role in my flex in the future, but it seems unlikely to happen this year with his injuries/his offensive line.
QB- Andrew Luck, Kirk Cousins, Teddy Bridgewater
WR- Odell Beckham, Mike Evans, Demaryius Thomas, Randall Cobb, Courtland Sutton, Tyler Lockett, Tre'quan Smith, Laquon Treadwell, Rashard Higgins
RB- Todd Gurley, Dalvin Cook, Saquon Barkley, Mark Ingram, Tevin Coleman, Mike Davis, Corey Grant, Jeremy Hill (IR)
TE- George Kittle, Hunter Henry (IR), Trey Burton
Def- CHI, CLE
K- Justin Tucker

Re: Mark Ingram for Golladay?
It's a forward-thinking move that could still work out this year. Even if Cook's health remains a thorn in owners' sides, Golladay could just as easily slide into your flex in place of Ingram.
I like it unless you're a contender AND you feel that Ingram's first game back was indicative of his production going forward. If you think Ingram falls off from last season's numbers then Golladay is probably the guy here.

Re: Mark Ingram for Golladay?
I'm surprised by the responses here to be honest. Especially with standard scoring where yards and TDs are valued more than receptions.
Ingram has RB1 upside with or without Kamara any given week in that offense. Given that Golloday would probably be your WR4 on your squad in a year (Sutton is going to be awesome when they get someone other than Keenum) and injuries happen at RB, I wouldn't even consider this offer because Ingram is a better flex/RB2 play this year. Isn't the goal to win titles? None of my leagues offer money for having the sexiest roster.

Re: Mark Ingram for Golladay?
Ingram(29 in 2 months) is 4 years older than Golladay(25 in a month). I think your bias is showing a little here. You're really going to hold Ingram if someone offered you Golladay? The age bump and potential is just too much imo.flyersfan1981 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 8:11 am I'm surprised by the responses here to be honest. What bias? I have about 6-7 dynasty squads and I own Ingram on two of them. How about your bias that you always have to get younger? The people that give up production for youth rarely win titles.0LDMAN wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 11:28 amIngram(29 in 2 months) is 4 years older than Golladay(25 in a month). Re: Mark Ingram for Golladay?
He's not even the best rb in his own backfield. He's got value and he can probably be useful for a few more years, but if I am giving up a guy like Golladay I want something more than that some servicable older RB2. Hell Ingram doesn't even have a contract after this season. I'd bet they score similarly in standard ROS, and over the next 4 years Golladay outscores him by hundreds of points.flyersfan1981 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 11:55 amWhat bias? Stip, just stop. First...so what if he isn't? Second...based on what? Last year? Kamara scored 1.17 more points per game in standard scoring last year. Ingram was the RB6 last year in standard scoring and based on his usage in hi first game is primed for RB1 numbers the rest of the season. Use your brain, NO is going to use both a lot, likely even more Ingram if they plan on discarding him anyway. Trading the 2017 RB6 for the 2017 WR64 is laughably silly if you are trying to win a title. And based on your theory, Golloday isn't even the WR2 on his team if we are using last year's numbers as Marvin was the WR5 in standard scoring.
Seriously...this debate is not about Ingram versus Golloday. It is about winning titles or accruing value. Golloday is not going to put the OP over the top for a title this year, where as Ingram very well could be the difference. Bucs/Panthers/Steelers for the fantasy playoffs this year...not exactly any good defenses there and Ingram is going to deliver championships to his owners this year.

Re: Mark Ingram for Golladay?
Your entire argument is based on Ingram outscoring Golladay in standard for ROS. And you're referring to Golladay as last year's WR64flyersfan1981 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 8:22 pm0LDMAN wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 1:56 pmHe's not even the best rb in his own backfield. Golloday is not going to put the OP over the top for a title this year, where as Ingram very well could be the difference. Bucs/Panthers/Steelers for the fantasy playoffs this year...not exactly any good defenses there and Ingram is going to deliver championships to his owners this year.
If you're going to cherry pick your numbers Ingram is the RB58 this season. Do you see how ridiculous that looks? Hence why I didn't reference it making my point. I stand by what I said. I think ROS their numbers will be almost identical, and over the next 4 years Golladay will outscore Ingram by hundreds of points. I think it's very much in the realm of possibilities that Ingram outscores Golladay ROS but I also think vice versa is true. My most likely scenario is they score near identical numbers ROS and you've mortgaged your future for a few weeks of hypothetical advantage that simply doesn't exist. Lucky for us we can see how this plays out! How about we make a friendly wager?!
Non-PPR ESPN Standard Scoring: If Ingram outscores Golladay from week 7 through week 16 (end of fantasy playoffs) by more than 1.5 points per game I will buy you a Mark Ingram jersey. If he fails to do this, you buy me a Kenny Golladay jersey.
Anything less than 1.5 points per game and I don't see any material advantage to this trade for this season, which makes your point moot.
Let me know if you are interested, all in good fun

Re: Mark Ingram for Golladay?
Well I am not a Saints fan so not really interested in a jersey bet, but I have marked a reminder on my calendar to bring this thread back up end of season and we can see who was right. I guess I only referenced your statement that Ingram isn't the #1 RB on his team and I wanted to know what that was based on. He had like 400 more rushing yards than Kamara last year. And obviously they both can be Top 10 RBs. I suppose the WR64 reference was just to make the point that you are banking on Golloday to do something he hasn't done yet. While that is part of the fun, I typically don't like to gamble when I have a titel-ready team.
I will gladly throw a casual $20 on that bet though... enough for a nice 12-pack.

Re: Mark Ingram for Golladay?
It's the standard settings that have me thinking, but I still think I would pick Golladay
