Kamara trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Kamara trade

Postby Jcedwards » Fri Sep 28, 2018 7:34 am

I’m thinking of proposing a trade. This is what I’m thinking so far:

GIVE: Kamara, Cooper
RECEIVE: M Gordon, Theilen

That may be not enough from my side as Cooper hasn’t done much, so I what do you think I have to add to my side?

I’m looking at upgrading my WR3. As you can see in my sig, I have M Thomas and OBJ, but after them I have some good WRs, but no WR3’s (yet) IMO.

Should I look into this trade or should I roll with my current lineup? We play 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 2 FLEX, so this would allow me more flexibility as to my FLEX spot.

I guess I thought that with the way Cooper has been that I would need to add more. I guess I was thinking that there is a bigger difference in Thielen and Cooper than in Kamara and Gordon, which swung it to his side a bit. Who else would you think he needs to add for those 2 then?

His team:
QB- Goff, Flacco, Bortles, Teddy
RB- Gurley, Gordon, Coleman, Henry, Kelly, Smith
WR- Thielen, Agholor, Fuller, Stills, Nelson, Miller, Gallup
TE- Gronk, Doyle, Andrews
D/ST- Rams, Seahawks
K- Vinatieri, Bailey

He has a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pick too.

Keep kamara, as someone mentioned earlier try to grab one of the big tight ends. Kamara, Barkley and Mixon all in the same lineup is scary... then throw in your receivers and King Mahomes... just wow

I'm assuming after Kamara and Cooper had big games that I shouldn't do this trade? Or should I?

Maybe package Cooper with someone else and sell high on him?

Remove Cooper and this is closer but I'd need more to move Kamara at this point. Kamara is a top 2 dynasty asset right now and he's only 22! I'd need a king's ransom to move him.

I think Melvin Gordon is a top 5 back this year, I also think Kamara is the RB1 at the end of the season, he is seriously an NFL cheat code. Keep the guy that could seriously push Gurley for the 1.01 spot in startups this off season.

Don't get cute. Kamara is your #1 asset and should be the long term backbone of your team. You should be riding Mahomes/Kamara/Barkley/Mixon/OBJ/Thomas as the untouchable core of your team. They are all young and can carry you to multiple championships.

If you really want to trade for a WR3, try packaging up some combination of Howard/Jones/Bernard/Cooper for a WR, a better TE, and/or draft picks.

You could also drop Shaheen, IR Olsen, and bring up Njoku. I'm a Njoku believer and think he moves into the TE1 ranks in the next few weeks with Mayfield targeting him. As soon as he finds the end zone his value will explode.

Dude, just stand pat. Cooper isn't who we thought he'd be, but as your WR3 he is fine.

Whatever you do, do NOT trade Kamara.

Also, I am a big Burton believer. Wait till that offense starts clicking...

Not sure why you would want to move a top young fantasy assets and lose out on the deal. Every deal I like to be getting the best player and your giving up the best player in this deal. Easy pass for me.
