Weekly DST streamers

Postby Generic Username » Fri Sep 14, 2018 7:27 am

Could’ve swore I saw this topic as a thread, but found nothing in search...

So here we are in week 2, who are the non JAX/PHI/MINN teams you’re looking to target because of matchups:

Pats @ Jacksonville - could be wet if the storm comes south, and Bortles is Bortles

NYJ v. Miami - division rivalry, Jets high on big win last week, and it's Miami

NOS v. CLE - week 1 an abberation for the Saints? CLE not quite the pushover they used to be?

LAC @ BUF - this is the obvious choice for week 2

Any others you’re looking at?

Since you said non-JAX/PHI/MIN:

LAR vs ARI
CHI vs SEA

DEN vs OAK is also interesting. Maybe HOU @ TEN, which is a lock if it's Gabbert at QB.
12 Team Superflex - PPR, 0.25 PPC - QB/2RB/3WR/TE/Flex/Superflex
QB: L Jackson, Tagovailoa, Rodgers, Pickett, Tannehill
RB: Swift, Pacheco, Sanders, Hubbard, Spears, Dillon, Herbert, McLaughlin, Chandler, Dowdle
WR: DeVonta, Waddle, Aiyuk, Nacua, McLaurin, Hopkins, M Williams, Mingo, Wan’Dale, Hyatt
TE: Kelce, Okonkwo, Schoonmaker

Good call on HOU, talk of both Mariota and Gabbert playing in the game from the coach is good news from the defensive perspective

I’m streaming the Jets in one league and I streamed the Bengals in another one in Thursday’s game. I own Houston in a couple and think they are a good play but they are usually widely owned in most leagues.

I’m streaming a lot of Washington versus the Colts.

They seem to have a good run defense, and the Colts don’t have a good running game. That puts the ball in Luck’s hands which means we can get points for things like sacks and interceptions

Chargers are probably good enough to hold as a non-streamer, but if they are available they're definitely the best option this week. Would have been better is Bosa was healthy, but Buffalo has a rookie QB, poor weapons and a worse line.

I'm almost a believer in the Jets defense. The unit is surprisingly talented at every personnel group. I still have questions about the pass rush, though.

I was quite high on the Falcons as an elite riser this year, but losing Neal and Jones is a terrible blow. Maybe in '19.

This is who (NYJ) I think I’m gonna end up going with over my currently held Steelers D. I don’t see MIA putting up any better fight than DET, and KCC seems way more capable of hurting PITT in the secondary

My realistic options were WAS, TEN, ATL, NYJ, and NO. I'm rolling with WAS. Had the chance to stream CIN and thought about it, but eh... hindsight.
