Who should I cut?

I have two weeks to get from 23 down to 18, but there's an intriguing free agent on the waiver wire (Taywan Taylor), so I thought I may try to cut now and pick him up. However, this year's decisions are harder than others.

I know it would be better to trade than cut, but I've been trying and have had zero luck.

Start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex.

QB - Ryan, Bortles, Darnold
RB - McCoy, Howard, Guice, Cohen, Crowell, Conner, Hines, Ballage
WR - Adams, Jeffery, M Jones, Woods, Robby Anderson, Sutton, Lockett, Callaway, Ross
TE - Doyle, Seals-Jones, Butt

Unfortunately there is no IR, so I can't deactivate Guice to free up space.

I'm thinking Butt, Lockett, Conner, Hines, and Bortles. Then for a 6th cut to pick up Taylor, perhaps Darnold and then I can just stream a backup QB when needed. Or would cutting RSJ and streaming a backup TE be a better option?

The hype on both Hines and Ballage have seemed to die down since I drafted them. Perhaps I should cut both and keep Conner due to his strong preseason and projected role next year.

Well you cant cut Conner. I am actually surprised u cant get a pick for him. Hes looked good and will have the opportunity next year to be the starter once bell moves on.
Yeah cut both TEs, cut hines, Lockett, Bortles. If you have to pick up Taylor trade one of Ross or Callaway. If you cant trade cut Callaway hes already had two encounters with weed.
