Good deal?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Good deal?

Postby vikesguy » Tue Aug 07, 2018 4:34 pm

Team in sig. 10 man have to start 3 rbs and 4wrs. Next season we're going to a tight end premium where you have to start 2 tight ends.

I give: diggs, penny, everett

I get: jordan howard, parker, kittle, 2019 1st (projected late) , 2019 2nd (late)

Upgrades rbs and tight end but lose diggs. Good for my team or not?
10 team 1PPR 32 man roster-- starting requirements 1QB+1superflex/3RBs/4WRs/2TE/Flex/K/Def

Diggs and Howard are close for me, so let's just say they're a wash. Parker I'm not a fan of, so it comes down to Kittle, late 1st, and late 2nd for Penny. Not terrible, but probably not enough.

At first glance I didn't like it but with the those requirements and your team I think it's great. With michel, chubb, and penny you had a lot of risk if the class doesn't pan out so Howard gives you more stability.

Losing Diggs sucks but I think it will be much easier to find a replacement at wr than trying to find TE starters once you go to two TE.

Both Parker and Howard for me carry a lot of doubts. So I would not do the deal

2 TE leagues are tough. TE drops off quickly talent wise after 5 or 6 (at least till the young guys prove themselves). If i'm moving guys like Penny and Diggs, i'm going after Ertz, Engram, Kelce type TE's.....

Giving too much just to get Howard and a late 1st. Everett has sky high potential, give it some time.
