OBJ Blockbuster quandary

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

OBJ Blockbuster quandary

Postby j_thunda_ » Fri Aug 03, 2018 7:50 pm

Need a top WR to win. Just received this offer...

K.Drake
S. Diggs
J. Gordon
2019 1st x 3
2018 2nd

—>

OBJ
2018 2.01

What do I do here. I think OBJ gets me over the hump. However I also will be drafting Barkley.

That's a lot to give up. I'd pass.

Drake=late first/early 2nd
Diggs=2 firsts
Add 3 more firsts and that's 5-6 firsts, you give up another 2nd but get the 2.01 back. It's not a deal, but it does give you OBJ. 20 player rosters, you want top guys. I'd have a tough time taking this deal, I'd try and scale it down a bit.

With your rb's I"m fine with losing Drake. The two wr's to add OBJ to go with Davis, Landry, Watkins, JuJu and Fuller is ok. I'd just want to only give up 2 of the 3 1st's for 2019. Maybe say the highest and lowest 1st, you keep the middle pick. To roll out a combo of Wentz, Jimmy G, Barkely, Cook, CMC, OBJ, Landry, Davis, Watkins, Kelce and still have quality backups I'd go for it. Studs win you the championship.

Where I see it one of the 3 2019 picks should be shaved. But I think your roster can afford to lose what youre giving up so I have no problem pulling the trigger

Too much for any player. That’s arguably up to 7 1sts depending on your value of Diggs, Drake, and Gordon.

Same, see if he'd take Sammy instead of Diggs, and then I'd probably do it

No way.
I'd rather have Diggs and the 3 firsts.
That's how you build a team.

Pass. Too much to give up. I would want to shave a 19 1st and Diggs or Gordon, and do it for OBJ straight up (no 2.01 coming back to you)
Dynasty League (25 man rosters + 2 IR, non-PPR scoring. QB/3RB/3WR/2TE/K/DB/LB/DL no flex)

QB (1): Herbert, Lawrence, Darnold
RB (3): N. Chubb, D. Henry, J. Taylor, JK Dobbins, Pollard, Singletary, L. Murray
WR (3): D. Hopkins, D. Adams, M. Evans, D.J. Moore, DJ Chark, B. Aiyuk, J. Smith-Schuster, R Bateman, E. Moore
TE (2): I. Smith Jr, H. Henry, Schultz, Tremble

K (1): M. Crosby

DB (1): J. Adams
LB (1): F. Warner
DL (1): D. Lawrence
