Would you rather have Gurley or DJ?

I put this up earlier and got mixed reviews. So I wanted to make it easier for people just to pick your side with the poll. If you have time feel free to leave your opinions, I want to hear all sides. I am currently thinking of offering DJ, Evan Engram and 2.1, 2.8 for Gurley, O.J. Howard, 1.12 and 3.12. Which side would you pick? Please look at scoring in signature.

Gurley > DJ - mostly due to age
Howard < Engram - but I don't think the gap is huge
1.12 + 3.12 = 2.01 + 2.08

Gurley is the best piece in this deal, so I'd rather have that side.

Pretty much this. The seconds are worth more on the pick line but I’d still lean very slightly to the Gurley side.

I'm here on the DJ side and currently it's split 3-3. I'd argue that DJ has seen low usage for his age and should continue to produce as a stud. I feel much more confident in Engram than Howard and the picks are just a bonus.

not sure how any views howard higher than Engram after their rookie seasons and their current situations. Engram is essentially a WR with a TE designation and that = fantasy gold.

Gurley side. I am not high on DJ. He had one great season. Engram...he will come back to earth. He WAS the only option last year. OBJ and Marshall were out after week 5. Now they get a shiny new RB. I like OJ long term better.

A few spots in random rookie picks should not make the difference when players of this magnitude are involved. The picks are basically even IMO, if you are trading them and them alone, the difference is marginal, compared to the overall puzzle. There is really nothing in the swap of these picks that should make or break the deal, IMO. It's down to the two major pieces on either side, and for me, I take the Gurley side.

I chose the Gurley side but don’t agree the picks are a wash. Do you really view moving down from pick 12 to 13 the same as moving up 16 spots from pick 36 to 18? I get mid seconds can be dart throws but I’d much rather have the 2 seconds. I think anyone with any confidence in their drafting/evaluation would. People give up much more every year to move up to get a second round target.

OJ is going to constantly be splitting time with Cameron Brate. They just gave him a six year extension so he’s not going anywhere. Think Engram is easily the more valuable TE at this point, especially with the uncertainty surrounding Bucs QB situation now.
