I think you mean now is the time to unload him while unsuspecting leaguemates think this is more than just a short reprieve.

I can't be the only one who doesn't read that story as a positive.

I was hoping people would take my side of this argument so I could unload him....

I'd gladly give a random 3rd rounder. if I'm light at receiver. I don't see how there is less risk. How many of your 3rd round picks ever become startable? I am usually risk averse, but if the price is a random 3rd, I'd take a shot. That being said I have no need for him on any of my teams, but what do you expect to get for him to your "unsuspecting league mates"? Legitimately curious as to what your sell point is.

i am smashing the accept button if anyone is selling for mid 2nd or lower prices. i get if you picked him up of waivers... but he's played a full year now, and while he had some drama he's stayed clean. he's in a new situation where he and Cooper are complementary and Jordy is old so while he's third on the depth chart, I see him more as a 1B. but i've always been high on him. no pun intended.

lol Sell now.

Even IF he plays this year it is hard to see him doing much and Gehlken is no scrub. I can guarantee we have not heard the last of this.

Curious though. If it's not a missed test, or a failed test, I wonder what it could be? Agreed there will be more to the story before too long. I sold my share long ago, but would like to see Bryant return to relevance and show his life is back on track.

Lol, of course we haven’t heard the last of this. I think he could have a good year if he stays clean though. Gruden obviously has a plan for him if he traded for him early in the draft. Martavis has already proved he can play also.

Vic Tafur is no scrub either, and he has questioned the validity of the original article. Per Rappaport, it could be something as simple a paperwork being filed in regards to paperwork that caused him to miss the start of training camp last year. I'm hoping for the best. I think it's stinks that in 2018 we are missing some really good athletes in their primes like Gordon, etc., because of the NFL's outdated view on weed.

IMO it is only a matter of time with Bryant.

I agree that Tafur is reputable as well - they both are so something has to give.

Also - all Tafur has really said is that Martavis has not been told of a suspension (which is obvious since that official news would be everywhere) and that he was told Martavis was clean. Remember when Lev Bell was saying he was allegedly clean and it turned out he was not? Of course if a player has not been suspended him and his camp would say he is clean.

It is also worth noting that he is misquoted on Roto - Tafur never said he has not failed a test, he said he is "clean". Big difference.

My guess is that a suspension is looming, he is currently fighting it for some reason and we will know more within a couple weeks.

Not going to address the "talent" part as I have expressed my feelings about him multiple times in the past.
