After this, I value the next ~10-15 RBs pretty equally.
The standard is the standard.

I like Chubb but im struggling to move him any higher than 5th. The presence of Hyde definitely takes the shine off him for me. If Hyde wasn't there I could easily see the argument for 3rd but at the moment i see him 5th.

I think the current "version" of Nick Chubb is one that is capable of being a very good workhorse in the NFL that the Browns would be looking to replace any time soon. Chubb's upside to me is the fact that he could continue his recovery/improvement from his injury and be even more explosive as time goes on. He's young, so I'd like to think he will keep developing and hopefully get even faster and stronger. If that happens, he's the second-best back in this class or even competing with Saquon (depending on how much he recovers).

There is a lot of "If's " there in my opinion. Pre injury no doubt Chubb was the 2nd best back but watching him this season he lacks juice and appears a touch sluggish for my liking. He has the physical make up I usually gravitate towards when drafting RB'S but again, if his recovery continues i could see him being in the conversation as 2nd best back. I have my doubts.

I’m starting to see Penny at 1.02 more and more. Which makes my decision on Friday even more frustrating between him and Guice.

Personally id go with Guice and not over think it. He fell because of "attitude" or bad interviews. Dude is talented.

This is exactly how I see it. I wouldn't pay a 5th to move from 1.6 to 1.4 because 3 through 6 is completely flat for me

Year 1 Rankings:

Barkley
Johnson
Guice
Michel
Freeman

Ballage
Chubb

Wilkins
Penny
Jones III

I like to take chances. I LOVE Johnson, both his skills and his situation. I think Guice will be a 1-2 year wonder. Michel will assume the starting role all to himself for once in NE, and Freeman is a wild card. I think he'll be given all the opportunity to succeed in Denver, and he has the talent, but little things like ball security and pass protection will make or break him.

I like Ballage. No wait, lemme say that again: I LOVE BALLAGE. I think he has a chance to take over the #1 job and run away as the surprise of the draft. I own Ballage in ever league I drafted in. It might not happen until 2019, but it'll happen.

Wilkins is my top super-deep RB. I don't think he'll be more than a 1-2 year guy, but he can easily take over that #1 spot and will be worth a 1st rounder. Anyone who owns him would be smart to flip him while his value is high. Not a long term guy at all.

I have 0 confidence in Penny with that RBBC, and Cleveland being Cleveland. I remind you, this is year 1 rankings. I think Chubb could be awesome in a few years. Penny is a scrub and will tank. Jones is an awesome talent but will also fail because he's bleeping uncoahable.

Jones is a bust. He's a breakaway runner and that's it. It's like Chris Johnson without the ability to avoid tacklers.

Defender: I stole your color coding method. It's easy to read. Thanks!
