Have your Rb rankings changed?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Have your Rb rankings changed?

Postby bills2 » Fri Apr 27, 2018 6:42 am

Wondering if Penny jumped up other lists? I was always kind of low on Chubb and Sony, but my list might be Barkley, Guice, Penny. I'm even debating the Guice and Penny spots.

Personally I think the Seahawks still have a really bad O-Line so I don't know how successful Penny can be. I would think since almost everyone thought it was a reach that he will get fed though, which can lead to some good production.

I think for me it's now: Saquon, Guice, Penny, Chubb, RoJo, Sony.

Sony to the Pats hurts him a lot I think, but he could step into the Lewis role. Only time will tell how the Pats use their RBs.

I always liked Penny and him going to the Seahawks in the first made it even better.

I have him ranked 3rd, I still think Guice will get a good landing spot. I think his ideal spot would be the Bucs, but if he doesn't go there and the Bucs draft someone else then it will get interesting.

Think the landing spot for both Penny and Micheal were not ideal but do think Penny moves up and Sony moves down. Guice could end up in a good situation with some of the teams drafting early in the 2nd (Colts, Bucs and Broncos could all be decent). The real wild card in my opinion is Rojo. He could land in a prime spot and easily find himself in the conversation for 1.03. The talk of Rbs going all in the top 6 has gone out the window. Ridley could be a target in the 1.04 to 1.06 range now with the great spot he landed.

I think if Guice goes to the Bucs he is still 1.02, like you said if he goes somewhere else then it gets interesting. I have 1.02 and 1.04 in a league, and 1.03 in another. Thinking my pick for the 1.03 will be easier, it'll be the left over from Guice/Penny. My 1.02 pick is going to be tougher if Guice doesnt go to the Bucs.

After rounds 2 and 3 tonight we'll have a better picture of it, but right now I'd place him 3rd. As frustrating as NE RBs are, I think BB will utilize Michel properly to maximize his value. So right now, I'd have the RBs at Barkley, Michel, Penny. Subject to change of course once we know where the rest of them go.

Of course Penny jumped, how far will depend on tonight. Lots of teams with good RB situations with picks in the 2nd round. if Guice/Chubb end up in Tampa/Indy they'll probably jump back up to the consensus 1.2/1.3 they were pre-draft. I would slot Penny in at 4 then (depending on what happens with RoJo) ahead of Sony.

If either of them land in Carolina with 2-down upside, I'd take Penny over them.

You think that is a great landing spot? He will most likely be the 4th option on the field.

my big concern is in 1 mock I saw Guice going to Miami... that would really suck and throw my draft ideas out the window

Seattle planted their flag hard on Penny since they reached for him. That tells me even with a bad OLine that they are going to feed him the ball a lot. So he’s moved up for me.

Where Sony Michel was once on my radar New England firmly wiped him off of it and I won’t touch him.

Think he'l'l put up strong WR2 in ATL. Juillo will take the main focus away from him and Sanu isn't anything special. Their RB's will get their touches but I really think Ridley will do well in Atlanta. I have the 1.01, 1.03, 1.05, 1.10 and 2.01 in my rookie draft this year and I will be looking really hard at Ridley with my 1.05 and before the draft I could honestly say he wasn't even on my radar.
