I was wondering the same thing with my picks. I think due to his pass catching too, he should be solid but New England is a pain. I'm up in the air here and I was really excited about Michel.

Hurt. They'll use him plenty just not week in week out.

As long as Belicheck is there, it’s hard to know how he will use him. That’s why it would be hard for me to take him very high, sure the talent is there but he’s had several injuries in college and now goes to a team that is so unpredictable with their RBs because of how they game plan.

Last year I passed on Kamara because I thought he was buried with AP and Ingram. I will try not to make the same mistake but there are a lot of bodies at RB in NE.

The narrative on NE is stay away from RBs but they just invested a first round pick on him while taking an OL earlier in the round. He may not be a workhorse but gotta think he’ll be the favorite to lead the team in touches.

Helps for me. Think Michel is more talented and versatile than most of backs they’ve had over the last several years which have typically been later round picks. They’ll be some off weeks due to game plans but I expect a bigger more consistent workload than we’ve seen with the typical 4th-5th round to undrafted backs they’ve been rotating.

Yep. And is a depth chart of Burkhead, White, Gilislee, and Jeremy Hill that hard to climb?

In my opinion, Dion Lewis is fool's gold. He had 0 production until Belichick gave him use. He wanted a ton of money and the Patriots moved on.

Now imagine a much better running back skillset in an offense where they were able to get 800+ yards and 6 TDs out of Dion Lewis. This guy is going to be used like a workhorse and is going to produce. He may not be an RB1 and break 1200+ yards and 10 TDs, but he is going to be a good fantasy option. He was going 1.03 prior to the NFL Draft. I would take him 1.05 now.

Hate the landing spot, but the fact that he went in the 1st should help his stock, or at least provide some ease about the injury concerns.

Help. He's connected to Tom Brady and a top 5 offense now that will be in the red zone frequently. He should have a Dion Lewis type opportunity share in the offense. They won't draft him in the first to not give him a lot of touches.

Blount and Lewis have both done ok in recent years. This NE RB narrative is a bit old.

Kind of dangerous that the prospect with the worst fumbling problems went to a team with the coach that has the least tolerance for fumbling.
