Buy lows, targets & sleepers

Postby Ski mask ready » Thu Apr 05, 2018 10:38 pm

Who are you targeting and why?? Love to hear everyone’s dirty little secrets.

Me personally I like where Jordan Matthews landed. I’m not expecting huge season but if he can reproduce the numbers he did in philly I think he can get a decent contract that would make him wr1 on a team. Probabale but not likely. However I want to buy low and hope for the best.

Sleeper carroo. Think he might get a chance this yr.

Funny you mentioned Matthews, because Malcolm Mitchell would’ve been my immediate answer before today. He might still be a decent buy-low, considering his value probably dips even further now and I don’t think JMatt is anything special.

I think Kenny Stills could wind up as the de facto WR1 in Miami, and you can probably get him for a late 2nd in a lot of leagues.

If I didn’t already own Enunwa, I’d be looking to buy him cheap as well.

I def think John Ross is a buy low and I know he was injured.... I’m scared he is nothing more than tavon Austin 2.0...

M. Williams, Zay Jones, John ross as buy lows for WR. He isn't cheap but Mixon is cheaper than he ever will be I believe. I'd try to grab him for the 1.04-1.05 and see if the owner bites, same with corey Davis, A lot of people expect when they pick a player as the 1.01-1.04 to immediately produce and kind of get aggravated hen they don't so I'd put some feelers out for Davis, I'd give anything from 1.04 on to get him. I like Foreman's chances to take the job from Miller in Houston. I like Kenneth Dixon and you can probably get him for insanely cheap. He's more talented than Collins and its not like the Ravens have given collins the keys to the kingdom just yet, I can see Dixon taking 3rd downs away immediately and by the mid season having the job.

I LOVE OJ Howard right now, most owners are in full panic mode with the brate contract but if you look at the specifics its mainly front loaded and they can cut him relatively cheap after the first year, I believe they are keeping him around while OJ develops but will give OJ the start in a year or so.

What do you think is the approximate buy low price tag on Williams and Ross right now?

I think it varies a lot on the owner but I've heard of getting ross for a late 3rd round pick and I've also heard of getting Williams for an Early-Mid Second. If thats possible I'd go for it in a heart beat. I'd still aim for Williams If I had one of the last picks in the first round like 1.10, He's got the draft pedigree and more talent then pretty much every receiver coming out of the draft this year.

I bought 1 share of albert Wilson in one of my 28 team IDP leagues. Read something interesting on him after the dolphins signed him. I also traded AJ green and a 1st in the 1.24-1.28 range for brandin cooks, Reuben foster and another idp. I think cooks is a great fit for the rams and see him putting up similar numbers to AJ and he is younger.

I'm not saying this just because I am a Lions fan, but hear me out. Kenny Golladay would be a good buy low. If he didn't miss 5 games due to injury I think we would be paying a pretty penny for him. He is tall, fast, makes amazing catches, young, tied to Stafford and I think he will be a WR 1 in a year or two. Mark it!

Tevin Coleman.... will be a FA at end of this year and if you think the McKinnon hype is bad now... just wait until this time next year with this guy.

You know who I'm saying and not because I have them I just traded for a bunch of them , So just to name a few of my own.

Ajayi - No more Blount , top 3 offence , 5.8 ypc in Philly last year

Drake - Very good skills set , did it at every level , can play all 3 downs , no real competition for touches

JMatt - Best QB ever , played very good first couple years with no help , very good skill set for slot WR "BUT" I am worried about Edelman

Meredith if he goes to NO - Best QB he ever had by a million miles , top 5 offence around him , played very good with the cluster fuk he had in Chi.

Parker - Has a nice skill set , did pretty good in 12 games with horrible QB play last year , Landry's 160 targets have to go somewhere , Should be the #1 on the team

C.Rogers if he stays the #2 in Indy probably won't though - Very good QB , Hilton taking the coverage , idk
