#1 (Barkley) for #6, Dalvin Cook, my former 2019 1st round pick

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I take cook side. The 2 1sts close the gap for me. If cook stayed healthy this season I may even have him above barkley anyways

That would be a real solid offer in most leagues. In a 16 team league I would gladly accept it.

In a 10-12 team league, I could sorta see maybe taking the Saquon side because he's probably the best player in the deal, but in a 16-teamer where you need serious depth? Cook++ and not really close.

I know you had a 10pm deadline - normally I would say the Cook side in a 16 team league, but the fact you can only keep 6 players makes me lean towards Barkley. Essentially it comes down to who you like better between Barkley/Cook, but you’d probably be looking at keeping Luck, Fournette, Evans, Davis, Howard, and Barkley (assuming having these players don’t go over some sort of cap). Having Cook plus the other two extra picks really don’t do much for you in your situation unless you think you could package those picks for a better piece.
Roster (12 team PPR - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 K, 1 DEF):

QB: Russell Wilson
RB: Saquon Barkley, Austin Ekeler, David Montgomery, Damien Harris, Nyheim Hines, David Johnson, Tony Pollard
WR: Tyreek Hill, Amari Cooper, Chris Godwin, OBJ, Curtis Samuel,
TE: Noah Fant, Robert Tonyan, David Njoku
K: Jason Sanders
DEF: New Orleans Saints
IR:
Taxi Squad: Tua Tagovailoa, Eno Benjamin, Keshawn Vaughn, Collin Johnson
2021 picks: 1.08, 4.08
2022 picks: 1, 2, 4

Wouldn't that make 1sts a little more important for depth purposes? Top 96 players kept, then everyone else...There will be decent players to be had, plus Cook is no slouch as a keeper.

In a 16 team league, where depth is king, I think this is an overpay for for Barkley.. Cook side for sure

I didn't end up taking the deal.

Love Barkley, and yea we only get to keep 6 players. So Cook would bump one of my already 6 keepers I have in place plus I am not fond of any RB with little sample size plus an ACL tear. The big thing with our league is that we get rookie tags we can use on keepers.

One rookie tag per year..this year will be used on Fournette. So it will cost me $5 to keep him this year, $10 next year, and $15 the year after. I think having Fournette and Barkley on rookie tags over the next few years is a huge advantage on the competition.

Plus the 2019 1st coming back is technically my own, and I'd be betting against myself in that case
